The environment is very good and clean. You can see Mount Fuji when you go out. The scenery is very good. The popular check-in spot, Richuan Timed Store, is in this small town. It takes 20 minutes to walk there. The most important thing is that the environment of this breakfast restaurant is very good and comfortable. They tried to sell us a smoking room, even though we had specifically booked a non-smoking room. And they tried to put us off with an air purifier, because it wasn't a smoking room, but maybe people had smoked there before and the hotel was supposedly fully booked. But I resisted because the room smelled as if someone had been smoking there for 10 years and the man at reception had to admit it and in the end we got a different room, even though it was supposedly fully booked. It was all a bit sketchy and didn't get the visit off to a good start. Although the room/hotel was a bit old, the rooms were fine. It was also the biggest room on our whole trip to Japan, which was very practical for packing. It is super close to the train station and there was a very good Italian restaurant nearby that we visited twice (タベルナ・ラ・クーラ) Breakfast was ok, there wasn't much choice, but in the breakfast room you even had a view of Mount Fuji.
