The location is very good, right by Lake Kawaguchi. The room is very big. We booked a room with dinner and breakfast. I highly recommend their meals, which are exquisite and delicious. The hot spring is not big, but it is quite cozy. It is an old Japanese-style hotel, warm and thoughtful, quiet in a bustling city!

The reservation was for 2 nights with mountain view. One side of the hotel faces the lake and ordinary mountain view, and the other side has Mount Fuji view. Trip.com describes it as mountain view and lake view. I booked a mountain view but it turned out to be an ordinary mountain view which was highly misleading. The private hot spring in the room was heated by a water heater. When I turned on the hot water myself, there was a sound from the water heater next to it. This hot spring hotel is old, with tatami mats, and English and Japanese are spoken.
