This was our 2nd visit, two adults & 2 children aged 5 & 7,we loved the meals, plenty of choice for kids.Breakfast was not to busy, seemed to be more there in the evening. The hotel does need to be upgraded. When we checked in the young woman never said the door on the 5th floor was closed off for the pools,or one of the lifts were out of order. There is no where enough sunbeds for guests,it opens at 10am if you not there by 10-05 theres none left. The rooms are very dated & need upgrading but it was clean, lovely thick towels. If you are looking for a central hotel & do not mind the bars around its ok.But there was a down side to our room we were over the terrace and the waitresses sit outside at 6am talking & smoking so there was smoke coming in the room we could not close the door as it was so hot.The break was for my grandaughters 7th birthday, she and her brother had a fantastic time.

Firstly I agree with some reviews bits of hotel are a little dated but other than that we had a fantastic experience Our rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday or aircon worked perfectly And I found beds comfortable We only had breakfast because there’s tons of dinner options in local area we recommend the magpie bar absolutely amazing food The breakfast though was nice there was a lot of options Pool everyone’s on about beds but we never had an issue the pool was very refreshing after being out in the sun it got too 32 degrees most days Please give this lovely hotel a chance the staff couldn’t do enough and we’d defo be back Big shout out to the entertainment staff that quite frankly worked there socks off

To start, the ongoing building works were not disruptive at all, figured I should mention that first for people looking at current reviews. Staff hospitality was excellent. Throughout the stay, the staff were brilliant, and always seemed happy to fill our requests, helping us get fresh towels, quick taxis and first aid help when required. The gentleman who was responsible for pool side activities (which we didn’t know were available) was incredible. The highlight of our trip was actually a poolside water polo game at the hotel, where this employee wrangled a bunch of grown men and put them in little hats before letting them loose. I went to the bar and came back to everyone shouting my normally introverted husband’s name to pass the ball to them. This employee not only learned everyone’s names, but was able to encourage activities for the typically reluctant adults resulting in absolute hilarity. He had a gaggle of children following him around, so was clearly a hit with them too (and, i assume, the children’s parents who were able to relax by the pool). We came here after searching for a cheap, last minute deal and had low expectations. The hotel is bog standard in terms of rooms, the beds are not luxury but also not uncomfortable. Rooms are kept clean, and housekeeping were efficient and fast. The shower head we had was a bit wobbly, but had great pressure. Although by the main *****, noise inside the room was not a problem at all. We were able to check in early (noon), despite their 3pm check in time, which we were happy about. We entered a spacious room with a large balcony overlooking the ocean (despite not paying for sea view). The included breakfast was a massive buffet with fresh food being swiftly produced and served - it was good food. The drinks were really good too.

My son and I stayed at the Las Palmeras in August 2025. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. We had quite a large balcony too. The breakfast was good, and they have English fry up type options along with a more European continental alternatives. The location of this hotel is perfect as it’s right opposite the harbour and near the local bars and restaurant. We went to the entertainment one night where they had karaoke on which was a good laugh. I can’t recall the entertainers name but he was an English lad with great energy and a good sense of humour. The drinks at the swimming pool were fairly priced and the staff friendly. Some parts of the hotel, particularly the hallways to access the rooms are really dated and need refurbishment. Personally I don’t go on holiday to marvel at hotel interior design but if you do, this hotel may not be for you and they are building another hotel next to it at the moment so there is noise at times but it didn’t really bother me. We spent our days on day trips. I’d definitely recommend the Costa Water Park if you have children. The train line is decent and cheap and Torremolinos is worth a visit. There are plenty of shops there and Aqualand water park was worth a visit (maybe bring your own food if there are a few of you as it’s a bit of a rip off there) Overall, my son and I had a fantastic holiday. We ate out twice a day and the cost in local bars and restaurants was great value. We liked the burgers in the St Patrick’s Irish pub and the day time staff there, especially Antonella and Martin were great. Like I said, the hotel does need doing up but such a great location for what we paid. I’d visit again.

We’ve stayed at this hotel 3 times now and enjoy ourselves every time! The rooms are clean and freshened up every time if you would like them to be. The food being offered is very nice and very well cooked with PLENTY of variety, everyone is catered for, the staff in the food hall are mostly polite when you speak to them but a certain few I tried to avoid as they didn’t look happy to be there and one even let us know he wasn’t impressed with the way a family had left their table. The bar staff I cannot fault! They are incredibly friendly, very good at their jobs and always very efficient( the prices are great too. The poolside/ night time entertainment is the reason we return, Connor and his team are just brilliant both fluent in English and Spanish makes it a very comfortable setting for all, Connor goes out of his way everytime to make sure my children are included in all of the activities, he comes and finds them in the morning to offer them to go to kids club, he makes my children’s holiday. Connor also provides brilliant night time activities, he is very funny and makes you feel very comfortable to get involved in the entertainment. As I said he is the main reason we return with how well he has treated us. The hotel all round is good and very well located. No it’s not the ritz, but if you’re working on a budget then this is the place for you. We will 100% be back in the future!

We booked a cheap get away - wish we would have stayed home. The hotel is having work done until December 2025 - I wasn’t told this important info at the point of booking. Pool area is an eyesore - scaffolding up, can’t use the actual pool entrance have to go through a door that’s for people shorter than 4 foot. Pool is unkept, paint and concrete chipping off - my daughter cut her foot open. Rooms are bearable - clean. Hallways stink of smoke and are very scruffy, suppose you don’t have to sleep out there tho. I was meant to stay for 5 nights checked out after 1 night. Most awful experience.

Me and my friend came and stayed here for a long weekend in August. We were a little skeptical at first following a browse at the reviews, however I can confirm our stay was really good. Pros: Great location, central to so many bars, restaurants, beaches and much more. Staff all super friendly and attentive. The food and drinks selection was really good and breakfast was really enjoyable with plenty of options to choose from. Rooms were constantly kept clean and towels were replenished daily. The shower was amazing, super powerful, and was very nice after a long day in the excessive heat. Beds are comfortable they are not too hard and not too soft. Lovely views from our bedroom balcony of the marina and beachfront. Swimming pool was a lovely temperature and the pool bar had lots to offer at really reasonable prices. Cons: Due to the central location noise is extreme so maybe some thicker windows/doors onto the balcony to help block the volume out could benefit a lot of people. Air con is not great it was super warm when we visited and our air con was kept on one mode the whole duration so didn’t make much of a difference for us as was just blowing hot air. The pool area is not big enough for the capacity the hotel holds, all the beds are reserved with towels by 10:15 and the pool opens at 10, so be quick! Lack of sockets in the bedroom, we literally had 2 plugs in the room and they were already occupied for the TV and fridge so we had to alternate throughout our stay. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Just got back from this hotel, my husband and I stayed for 2 weeks and had a brilliant time, don’t listen to the negative comments, it does need updated but was very clean, roomed cleaned daily, we were bed and breakfast and there was plenty to choose from, air conditioning worked very well in our room and the hotel is central to everything, will definitely be going back .
