Comfort Suites St Charles-St Louis

The location was perfect for our downtown St. Charles tour. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and delicious and there were several non cooked and cold options available. We would definitely stay here again. The jacuzzi in our suite was wonderful.

The keys to my door didn't work. When I went to the front desk the male attendant followed me up to my room to "prove" they weren't working for me before he would remake them...even though my aunt had the same issue in a different room and he issued them to her no questions asked. Then when I pointed out that my blinds were off the track, he once again said he had to come in and inspect himself as if he didn't believe me. When he saw they were off track he said nothing could be done. I asked if I could speak with someone about a discount and he said I could email the manager but he couldn't give a phone number. then he said "Indian people do it differently than us" On top of that, there were used wash clothes in my shower.

The facility is the best Comfort Suites we've frequented, and we frequent the Choice Hotel brands almost exclusively in our frequent travels. This Comfort Suites is spotlessly clean, updated with paint, flooring and fixtures, and staffed by a very professional group. On top of all that, the price for our room was very affordable. While we didn't partake in the complimentary breakfast, we did enjoy the tasty coffee. The food available looked very tasty. This Comfort Suites is now our go-to choice for lodging in the St Charles area.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! After walking into our room which smelled of urine, we noticed the floors were not clean, the bedding was dirty and the AC didn't work. We informed the front desk we would not be staying. We were told the manager would contact us. She never did! We have tried to call and email her with no response! The website said it was recently "remodeled", if you call a bad paint job "remodeled". Very disappointed!!

Getting off the 3rd floor from the front elevator, it smells as if someone took a crap in the middle of the hall way. The staff assumed the best time to see if we had checked in was 3 am when they walked into our room without knocking. The outlets in the bathroom didn’t work. The pool was closed because of some disgusting film on the water. Had to answer the door with a concealed firearm after the staff broke in while I was in bed. The toilet ran all night so loud it sounded as though we left the water faucet on full blast. Can I give negative stars?

First time staying at this location and we can say we were impressed. Courteous workers, excellent room with great shower, bed etc, and awesome breakfast. Everything was clean. We will be back. Location was close to everything we wanted to do.

We booked this hotel for three or four nights. We checked in late and arrived around 2am. The room was hot as the air conditioning unit was off. Took hours to cool down. We immediately as we always do we look over the sleeping situation. Located several “short hairs” all over the comforter. Once we peeled back the comforter we located more. Gag. And in addition stains. Were the sheets stained even after washed? Or never washed? We will never know. The pull out sofa sleeper did not have any sheets (nor were any available in the closet as they sometimes are.) had to request sheets. No biggie. Off to a rough start. Complained about the cleanliness to night shift because that’s when we located it. Left the next day and returned to the room not being cleaned. Same situation as the first night. Complained again. The following morning I made a complaint with the day shift on duty concierge. I was told that cleaning was only done every three days unless requested. I informed him that I requested to the on duty staff two nights in a row. I was told by Matt that the night shift doesn’t speak to the day shift and they would never know the rooms needed to be cleaned unless the complaint was made to the day shift crew. Matt also told my wife that their records indicated that our room had been cleaned. (Basically calling us liars) We had pictures to prove that wasn’t true. Due to the lack of cleanliness we checked out a day early. To their credit they did not charge us the last night of our reservation. In conclusion, dishonest and not clean. They will say their cleanliness is top priority. It was not a top priority for our room. Plenty of other options in the immediate area. Stay away from Comfort Inn unless you find comfort in sleeping in a strangers body hair and stains.
