Hotel near the center using bus (number 4 from the covered station lane 12) or the car, on foot it would be an unthinkable climb. We spent 572 francs for two nights, even though we left in the evening after just one night. We were assigned the Josiane apartment on the fourth floor without a lift, ancient narrow wooden steps. The apartment is on the attic, upon entering there is another steep staircase, then there is a kitchen open to the living room, a corridor with a small bathroom with shower (no bidet). then a kind of storage room under the roof that was impracticable. The bed was located on an open mezzanine which can be reached by yet another staircase. Only skylight type windows, most of them blocked, we only managed to open one folding type... it turned out to be an oven, very hot! It was 25 degrees outside, I can't imagine if it had been 35. Quick check in, very few details, practically zero explanations. In the house there were only two medium towels, one small one and a bathroom mat. No hairdryer. Minimum crockery in the kitchen, no salt or oil available to the customer. A sheet is given which lists unacceptable surcharges for having the apartment cleaned more than once a week. Plus a series of "threatening fines" for everything. Meanwhile, there was an unhygienic stain in the fridge. Not thorough cleaning behind the furniture dust and crumbs. The spiral staircase to go up to the mezzanine is steep and slippery. At night, unable to sleep due to the heat, I went downstairs with my socks on and fell, I twisted my ankle but it could have been worse. I didn't see any explanation with the emergency numbers, I thought of foreign travelers who don't necessarily know our emergency numbers. In addition to the very high price, if you want breakfast it is another 22 francs each. In my opinion, their luck is that after COVID there are very few hotels left in Friborg. In short, it will also be suggestive to see but I don't recommend it.
