Relax playing 8 ball or 9 ball while enjoying the lovely outdoors - covered patio area, outdoor dining, and an outdoor grill. Breathe easy with the HEPA whole home air purifier and paddle away on the ping pong table! With 3 smart TV's and Netflix, there's entertainment for everyone! And our newest addition - a foosball table with an automatic electronic scoreboard! Welcome to your home away from home! =========================================================== The space: ========= You'd be renting a spacious home located in a quiet neighborhood that sleeps up to 12 guests. =========================================================== Guest access: =========== Entire home except for the pantry and the under stairs closet which are for housekeeping use. =========================================================== Other things to note: ================= - Please be sure to indicate correct number of guests while booking. - You are welcome to update the reservation if the number of guests change until right before you check in. - Just asking for your transparency so that there is no surprise from either side. - The base listing price of the property is for up to 6 guests and is set to accommodate small families/groups too. - For larger families/groups with 7 to 12 guests, its $50/guest/night. Please reach out if any clarification is needed. Please remember that you will be staying at a home, not a hotel. Please treat the place with respect. If you encounter any problems, I'll do my best to address it ASAP. I'm a remote host and will not be available for any in-person interaction. =========================================================== FAQ: ==== Q1: What do you provide in the kitchen? A1: Basic utensils, cutlery and other items featured in the photos. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q2: Do you provide cooking essentials such as cooking oil or a spice rack? A2: There are canisters filled with single serve packets of sugar, salt and pepper available for guest use on the kitchen counter. However, no cooking oil or spice racks are provided. I'm not a fan of leaving any open/used bottles for guests whose contents I cannot personally verify before guest check in. Its safer for everyone that way. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q3: What's a good place for groceries and cooking essentials nearby? A3: Food4Less is a short drive away from home and is a great grocery store. They are open from 5a to midnight. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q4: What else can guests expect? A4: * Housekeeping makes sure to line all waste baskets with fresh liners each time. (Kitchen, bathrooms, grill area) * Spare trash bag liners are also left for guest use along with dishwasher pods, laundry essentials, paper towel rolls and toilet paper rolls. * In addition, a couple of courtesy coffee filters and sachets are provided. * Plenty of towels in each of the bathrooms. Housekeeping usually leaves 12-16 fresh towels in circulation for guest use. In addition, you're welcome to use the washer/dryer for your laundry needs. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q5: What do you provide with the pool, ping pong and foosball tables? A5: * The pool table is an 8ft table and has 3+ regular cue sticks, 2 junior cue sticks, chalk and racks for 8 ball and 9 ball. And also an extension stick. * For ping pong, there are 4 paddles (basic ones) provided along with a few ping pong balls. Depending on the prior guest usage, there might be a few or no ping pong balls since housekeeping does not replace them. I do my best to ensure they are stocked, but there is always a chance that there might be too few or none. * If you're an avid ping pong player, I would advise bringing your own ping pong paddles. * Foosball table has 2 regulation size white textured tournament quality balls. The attached electronic scoreboard with timer can be turned on to keep track of score. * Do not attempt to move any of these tables from their setup location. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q6: What if I have a problem with any of the amenities during my stay? A6: As as host, I'm committed to ensuring you have a pleasant stay. But, of course there are times when unanticipated things happen. If any advertised amenity is unusable for any reason (except weather related or other external factors), I'll be happy to credit you up to a maximum of $75/night of your stay if I'm not able to suitably address it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q7: Can you elaborate on how the security cameras get used during a guest's stay? A7: As noted, there are security cameras at all outdoor vantage points. The cameras are on 24/7. The cameras are not actively monitored but do record to the cloud whenever motion is detected. I greatly respect guest privacy and you have my full assurance of that. Upon request, I'm happy to furnish a snapshot of the images I see on my end if it helps with your decision making or helps put your mind at ease. As a remote host, usage of security cameras is the only way for me to secure the property. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q8: Is the pool heated? How to control the spa heating? A8: The pool is not heated. The spa and other functions (lighting) are controlled via a remote available inside the house. Its pretty straightforward to use and all the buttons are labeled. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q9: Any restrictions on spa usage? A9: The biggest ask of guests is only that it be used responsibly. i.e., be mindful to turn it off after use. Do not leave it running when you are not at home or leave kids unsupervised. Based on PG&E guidelines, there is a recommended window of usage (>7a and <11p) and 5 hours/day of total use. While I don't wish to be imposing, there is a surcharge if the guidelines are not followed. I can assure you that as long as you are a responsible user and take care of the property as you would, your own (i.e., turn off equipment when done) there is nothing to worry about. At the same time, leaving the spa running overnight is a definite no-no and will result in cancelation of your reservation. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q10: Can I use the pool and spa fountains? A10: Yes. There are blowers in the pool and the spa area that can be controlled individually. The pool has a total of 5 fountains - 2 in the shallow area (under water) and 3 in the deep end (above water). In addition, there are 4 deck jets that can be used as well. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q11: What are some great to visit spots around the area and how far are they? A11: Here are some of the major ones. - Yosemite National Park (57mi / 1 hr 10 min) - China Peak (ski resort) (60mi / 1 hr 15 min) - Millerton Lake (10mi / 14 min) - Shaver Lake (38mi / 49 min) - Fresno Yosemite Airport (9mi / 15 min) - Fresno Chaffee Zoo (15mi / 19 min) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q12: Will there be garage door openers for guest use? A12: No, there are no garage door remotes/openers for guest use. It quite literally the item most guests forget to replace after use. Garage doors have to be operated from the inside. There is no code access either to the garages. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------About pets:Pets allowed: limit 2 total.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.

Nice pool Nice pool and hot tub, nice master suite. Host was very uptight and we felt like we were being watched. The cleaning person was hovering on day two and 30 minutes before checkout.

Perfect place for large family gatherings! Large kitchen fully stocked (knives are tough to work with); plenty of towels for everyone, showers worked well, super easy checkin and checkout. There was even a Christmas tree out for our stay! Perfect touch to make it feel festive. It was raining most of the time so we didn’t utilize the hot tub or pool but we had a wonderful time with ping pong tournaments, pool competitions, and board games. The house is so close to Kuppa Joy (great coffee) and grocery stores. Our only critique was cleanliness. The floors were sticky and when we wiped them the towels were seriously dirty. We had to go out to buy cleaning stuff to wipe down walls, light switches, the oven hood, sides of the refrigerator, etc. The house just needs a good detailing once a quarter to deal with all the mess left from short term renters. (Or a new cleaning crew) Please note that the host did kindly offer to send a cleaning crew to “fix it” but with 12 ppl in the way it was going to be a headache. We had enough ppl to do a quick clean ourselves anyway. All in all this was a wonderful spot. Good memories were made. We will definitely book again if the entire family goes to Fresno another time.

National parks We chose Fresno because it was relatively close to Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. The house was very nice and the amenities were used a lot. We did have a couple of hiccups but the line of communication with the host made it so they didn’t affect the enjoyment of are stay one bit. Would recommend and stay here again.

Gorgeous Home What a perfect home! I can't imagine a more suitable place for us to have spent the holiday. We played pool, ping pong and foosball. Each had a perfect table. We hung out in the hot tub. We gathered around the fireplace. We grilled and cooked up a storm in the kitchen. We ate outdoors and had coffee on the balcony. We opened presents in the beautiful living room underneath their Christmas tree. It was absolutely perfect!
