The management and front desk of this hotel are not helpful or responsive in a prompt manner. Maybe I am just used to nice and friendly people. Being ignored and then dismissive by a hotel that I spent $250 dollars isn't something I am used to. I would encourage you to find a friendlier place to spend your money.

It's not often I'll compliment a hotel on their desk chairs, but I'm happy whenever they are not broken in the lowest position and I have to sit on two pillows to be able to work comfortably at the desk - so yeah - the desk chair was great. If you have the chance get a room on the odd side of the hall, away from the main road where it's nosier. I do detest the hand soap bottles - they are always far away from the sink and this one shot hand soap clear across the vanity. Please bring back bars of soap. And finally my biggest gripe is that there are not coffee makers in the room. What? I've never stayed at a HIE without a coffee maker. I want to have my first cup while I'm just getting up and not showering, dressing and going downstairs. You need to fix that and put those back in the rooms, seriously. The hotel is undergoing a remodel, so the place is clean and fresh.

Pool and exercise facilities exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was wonderful - especially the person who checked me in; he was so accommodating and helpful!!!

The heat did not work in my room sbd it was 56 degrees and I couldn’t sleep in it pius the tv didn’t work because of something with the cable. Also there was a dried crusty wash cloth on the floor by the bed when I got there. They said they couldn’t refund any of my money because I booked through ******* and not with them. Very disappointed
