Too hot
Apart from the fact that the soap dispenser in the sink was almost empty and there was no soap for the shower, the rooms were modern and quite nice. The night we stayed was a reasonably warm one and we were given an attic room on the third floor. The hotel appeared to have quite a few rooms free so we were disappointed when we were given this room on the third floor up many stairs. When we entered the room it was very, very hot. There wasn't any air conditioning or fan, just a couple of Velux skylights that partially opened. These were simply insufficient to cool the room down. We requested a pedestal fan but they didn't have one. We suffered a lot during the evening and sweated on our pillows. If you stay here we would strongly recommend that you not stay in the top floor rooms, especially during May-September when the days may be warm. For the hotel proprietor we strongly recommend that you at the very least provide pedestal fans so guests can have some relief from the heat.
