This B&B was a remarkable experience in all ways. The attention to detail in every aspect of the property is incredible. The grounds are beautiful and the house is well maintained. The hosts are very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this property and the surrounding area.

Roy and Kristy are consummate hosts and they've thought of every detail to make their guests feel at home. From a lovely snack bar, to robes, games room with a proper pool table & hot tub, there is all the amenities on site to relax and unwind. The gorgeous log home designed by our hosts live up to the grandeur of the setting. There is lots to see and do. We brought our kayaks to explore Hicks lake up the hill and we weren't disappointed.

Kristy and Roy were wonderful hosts providing gourmet breakfast each day and freshly baked goodies appeared in the guest kitchen each afternoon. There were fresh cut flowers in our room and even a welcome gift on the bed! The location was well out of town, right next door to a a babbling stream and just a walk across the bridge to a national park and magnificent lake.

Beautiful place, wonderful hosts, unbelievable location. Thanks, Roy and Kristy for your hospitality. I hesitate to review your place because I would like to keep it a secret! Right at the end of a serene, scenic drive with nice access to quiet and secluded Hicks and Deer Lake and only a short walk to Sasquatch Park which has some wonderful views. Great food, and a nice treat for our final day as we were leaving so early. Thanks!

Kristy and Roy's Rockwell Harrison House was a great find and the time we spent on our honeymoon was beautiful. The spacious room had a great architectural design with separated balcony. Their hospitality and breakfasts were wonderful! We loved getting to know their background and the story behind their resort style bed & breakfast and their two dogs. The homemade sourdough and Finnish style stuffed pear pancake were incredible as well as the yogurt parfait and homemade smoothie. We spent part of our last night under the stars on the balcony with a partial view of the lake. Harrison Hot Springs is a great destination stop for Sasquatch enthusiasts (which we are!) with easy access to the lake in town and to a beach nearby as well as Sasquatch provincial park. Thank you Kristy and Roy for your hospitality and warm welcome and sharing some recommendations in the area and for our trip to Vancouver! God bless!

No doubt the Post and Beam construction is remarkable. However, the brunch was definitely not "legendary" and the hospitality not particularly warm. As it turned out, communications occurred through several automated message emails and face-to-face conversations were kept at a minimum. From our very arrival, we felt like we were intruding. Would not stay at the Rockwell again.

Kristy and Roy are very welcoming and gracious hosts. We enjoyed our 2-night stay and the wonderful breakfasts each morning. The log-built lodge is amazing and our room was large but still cozy. They have obviously thought of every detail that makes a stay here comfortable. They made up our bed the way we requested (with two duvets) and the bed was so comfy! The whole place was immaculately clean. Free parking and a lovely outdoor space, and also a short walk to the beach and a short drive into town for dinner. Nice pool table too.

The Rockwell was a truly magical stay. The building really is a hand built masterpiece, that emanates calm and warmth. We arrived after dark, a little tired, fortunately the instructions provided meant we arrived without any difficulties. We were welcomed and shown to our beautiful room, we were provided with all the home comforts anyone could ever need, tea(s) of many varieties, coffee, hot chocolate, snacks, fruit, fluffy towels, dressing gowns, slippers, a cosmetics goody bag. Home baked cookies, fresh every day of our stay…. I have begged for a cookbook to be made, as I already miss my daily cookie fix. Breakfast was not only delicious, plentiful, unique and homely, it was a slow chatty and informative pleasure to spend time in the most wonderful place with wonderful people. We walked to the local lake for a swim and headed off with good recommendations for lunch and dinner as well as places to visit. We honestly can’t sing The Rockwells praises enough. DO stay here if you love beautiful buildings, in beautiful places with wonderful people and awesome food…

We arrived at this stunning property to be welcomed by Kristy and the two dogs Casey and Cedrick. The facilities are excellent with everything you may need and more! Our room was very comfortable and had beautiful views of the lake no matter what the weather. Roy and Kristy’s breakfasts were outstanding with the menu changing daily.
