Hotels with Breakfast in Franz Josef

Didn’t manage to stay in this hotel, however there was no suggestion and no advice to make the experience better especially being a tourist who would not know many things about the location of the hotel.

The hotel is right on the main road of the town, easy to find, with plenty of parking spaces. The hotel has a front desk, and since we had dinner, we needed to check in by ourselves, which was also very convenient. The room was large, heated, and very comfortable.

The hotel seems new and all the rooms were very clean. There was also a nice little kitchen and a spa bath tub, which we did not find the time to use. Special mention to the kind lady at the reception who was very helpful and informative. Thanks! We drove to visit the Fox Glacier Walk and the Lake Matheson Trail, which was about half an hour drive away. There were supermarkets nearby in case one planned to cook or dine in at the restaurants.

I think it's one of the best legit hotel in Franz Josef. Staff are so nice. I had to cancel 1 night of my stay, as my main activity (the glacier hike) got cancelled due to bad weather. Hotel was kind enough to accommodate and refund me 1 night. Its definitely a nice place to stay.

A beautiful area just outside of Franz Josef. It's nearby the road, so you may get some traffic noise. Other than that, it was a quiet and restful night there. We could see the milky way at night! We had a studio, so no kitchen but a microwave was available. There's a laundry as well. Wifi was good. The manager was very friendly and allowed us to fill out campervan with water.

A very good hotel. The concierge will provide free valet parking. The front desk staff are also friendly and enthusiastic. They will answer and satisfy all questions. The dinner is 5 courses and the service is also very good. I am very satisfied. I will stay here next time when I go to the west coast. Will choose.

The environment is very good, there are supermarkets and restaurants next to it, the scenery outside the window of the room is beautiful, there are stoves and all kinds of kitchenware, you can cook. It's just that the internet signal in the room is not very good.

Overall it was a particularly good choice near the fox glacier, and all the rooms were fully booked on the day. The cabin is equipped with the kitchen utensils needed, but there is no dishwasher. The only fly in the ointment is that there is a bathroom, which is used in line, but overall it is the best choice.
