Fantastic hotel. Amazing room. Large, comfy and all amenities you need. Breakfast was great. Lovely to have it all brought to you at your table. Great shower. Near everything. Conrad and staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Nice touch with bubbly, candles and dessert for our wedding anniversary. If you’re in this area stay here.

Had the privilege of staying at this hotel and straight from the start my expectations were exceeded! The team at the Last Word went above and beyond to ensure we were treated like ROYALTY. This was by far one of the most memorable experiences staying at this hidden gem. Room was of the highest order and beautiful kept public areas. Breakfast was served with so much love! Thank you once again to the amazing staff that turn the hotel to feel like a home away from home.

A lovely boutique hotel in Franscheok, which was delightful to stay, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay and take in the sights, and wine tasting experiences.

Undoubtedly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, this place is stunning, everything designed and decorated to perfection. Complimentary drinks a delightful bonus, all the Lemon and Verbena products were lovely and the scent will forever take me back there. The staff were really attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Location perfect for access to the Main Street and the Franshhoek wine tram tours. We only stayed 2 nights but I wish we’d had longer.

A first-class stay with outstanding service! Franklin and all the staff went the 'extra mile' to ensure we were looked after. Our room/suite was beautiful and the bathroom was particularly spacious and impressive. The only minor disappointment was the quality of the breakfast which we felt did not match the high quality of everything else. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Franschhoek; we enjoyed some lovely shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, all within walking distance. Thanks to all at The Last Word for a wonderful stay.

Just wow! This hotel is an absolute gem in the heart of Franschoek. The rooms are incredible, the lobby and rooftop are gorgeous. 5 minute walk to anywhere in town which is super convenient a super nice to walk around. Close to the wine train and wineries. The staff were a highlight here though. Franklin, the Manager is constantly available and will do anything to make guests happy. My wife and I were made to feel so special by all the staff and they definitely went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Thank you!

The staff was incredible and made our stay amazing. The small touches added to the suite were extremely thoughtful. The suite was huge and the entire property was tastefully decorated and pristine. A 5-star
