We had a lovely overnights stay at Maison Chablis which is in a brilliant location. Our rooms were perfect and very well appointed. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Maison Chablis. The location is perfect, so close to the shops and restaurants but we were still able to enjoy some peace and quiet while relaxing next to the pool. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The staff are friendly and professional. We will definitely stay here again!

Geschmackvolle und gepflegte Pension in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße mit köstlichem Frühstück und Pool im Garten. Die Zimmer sind individuell, wir hatten einen kleinen romantischen Minibalkon zum Pool, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Service war total freundlich und zuvorkommend, u.a. sehr hilfreich bei Tipps zu Restaurants und Ausflügen in die umliegenden Wineyards und bei unserer sehr frühen Abreise zum Flughafen. Die Pension liegt zu Fuss 5 Min. von tollen Restaurants und Galerien entfernt, der Weg ist auch abends sehr sicher. In Franchhoek kann man hervorragend zu günstigen Konditionen auf hohem Niveau essen gehen und erstklassige Weine dazu probieren. Auch hier ist Service und Personal erstklassig. Es gibt einen tollen Kunsthandwerkermarkt im Ort, mit schönen afrikanischen Mitbringseln (Rezeption wg. Zeiten fragen), Shoppen kann man in vielen schönen Boutiquen und Galerien im kleinen Ort, die Preise dort sind höher, als sonst im Land. Sehr sauberes und sicheres Städtchen mit gepflegten Vorgärten. Auf einer Rundreise unbedingt zu empfehlen.

We highly recommend this lovely place. Elsje is the most welcoming and warmest person and is definitely an asset to this Guest house. The room was comfortable and so spacious and the breakfast was the best! Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!

We loved our stay at Maison Chablis. They helped us before our arrival with wonderful dining suggestions and airport logistics. They also stored our luggage after we checked out since our flight was late in the evening. The breakfast was delicious and served in a charming, bright dining room. While most rooms are on the ground level, the dining room and 3 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor so Maison Chablis may not be best if you have mobility issues. Otherwise, I highly recommend and would love to return in the summer when I could enjoy the lovely pool.
