Very comfortable rooms with all you need. Very clean. Friendly staff especially Mandla who really goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast highly recommended and delicious.

Neighbourgood Gables is a luxury guesthouse in a quiet part of Franschhoek and has dozens of wineries nearby. The charming B&B is family owned & managed and offers 7 rooms. Furnishings and decoration provide a pleasant old-world atmosphere. Complimentary garage parking at the property. The nice garden has a small pool and sun-loungers. In the lounge you find a library and a full honesty fridge. Service is friendly & helpful. We had a nice, yet dark, room with desk & chair, hard king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe, club-chair & TV, and a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet, shower & large bath. All was speckless clean. The windows can open, have inside bars but no mosquito screens. The B&B serves a nice breakfast: eggs made to order, cereals & yoghurt, juices & fresh fruit, cold cuts & cheese, toast, tea & coffee. Neighbourgood Gables is a charming & clean B&B, and we had an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

Rooms were spacious especially the outside rooms. Clean and well kept. Very friendly and kind staff. Nice and quiet, feels like a home from home. Didn’t try the breakfast as we went out but would do next time. Great location only around 10 min walk from the middle of town, restaurants etc and felt very safe even at night.

Lovely place to stay, close to wine tram bit of a walk (15 mins) to town centre. Accommodation was excellent, all staff so helpful. The views from the balcony are to die for.

set away from the everyday hustle and bustle Gable Manor is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are spacious on the balcony overlooking the garden. breakfast is generous and tasty. The staff are helpful and caring. In essence it is such a great place to stay

What a lovely place. We throughly enjoyed our stay - ideal location for getting the tram to a number of favourite vineyards. Everywhere in town is walking distance - perfect for leaving your car and enjoy the wines. An extra mention of praise is the staff, my fiancée left her glasses behind and they made the effort to return them safely by post.
