Our stay at Akademie Boutique Hotel was nothing short of magical. We visited on our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived, we were completely enchanted. The property itself is breathtaking—lush, tranquil, and immaculately designed. Every corner feels like a slice of paradise, with stunning views that take your breath away. The pool is an absolute dream—serene and inviting, perfect for lazy afternoons with a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc in hand. And the evenings? Pure magic. Sipping cocktails while a pianist plays in the background felt like something out of a movie—romantic, intimate, and utterly unforgettable. Declan and his incredible team provide flawless service, anticipating every need with warmth and genuine care. They made us feel so welcome, going above and beyond in ways both big and small. Every detail is thoughtfully curated to create an experience that is as luxurious as it is personal. Breakfasts were an absolute delight—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The location could not be more ideal, just steps away from everything Franschhoek has to offer, yet still feeling like a secluded retreat. Akademie redefines hospitality. We just stayed 5 days at this Boutique Hotel and it was absolutely outstanding. No wonder that they won so many Awards ! The welcome by arriving, all the details and the comfort in the beautiful Suite, the extraordinary breakfast in the garden, everything made you frelon at Home. The most important though is the kindness and professionality of the staff ! Always ready to help ! Not to forget the pre-Dinner/Night with live-Musical in the Orangerie! All those Things made made our holiday a very special stay. We highly recommend this Boutique Hotel in Franschhoek.

It's perfect in every way. A lovely, smiley, helpful team; fantastic luxury rooms; beautiful courtyard and gardens and a truly delicious breakfast. Loved every minute and cant wait to go back. It is such a pleasure to go somewhere, where there is just one payment and all the complimentary gorgeous extras are then just pure pleasure.

From the second we arrived and the warm welcome we received we felt at home. Room was beautiful, clean and had wonderful views over the mountains. Hotel is just a short walk to the main street which is full of lovely shops and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful, relaxed stay in Franschhoek.
