An exceptional stay at a beautiful 10-bedroom boutique hotel, perfectly situated on the main road of the quaint town of Franschhoek. If you are an international traveller arriving at Cape Town Airport, an Uber or taxi will take you to Franschhoek. Once at Le Petit Manoir, everything is within walking distance – from charming shops to excellent restaurants, and of course, the renowned wine tram that tours Franschhoek’s many wineries. It’s the perfect base to explore the Cape Winelands. The rooms are truly exquisite, and the décor throughout the hotel is simply magnificent. We stayed in the King Suite - Room 9, which has a lovely patio overlooking the mountains. It faces the back of the hotel, and we loved that. The room was quiet, spacious, luxurious, and beautifully designed. There is a stunningly beautiful small pool area at the back of the hotel for guests to enjoy. The hotel’s deli is a hidden gem, serving delightful breakfasts and offering an inviting, beautifully designed space for light lunches, great coffee, or cocktails. Service is impeccable. The staff are warm, attentive, and professional. A special mention goes to Frank, who made us feel incredibly welcome. All in all, an absolute treat. Highly recommended.
