We had a comfortable stay in the pool room. Although not luxurious there was everything we needed for our self-catering stay. The room was large and we appreciated the comfortable sofa and the outdoor table and chairs. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The wine tram terminal moved from the centre of town and is now at the entrance to the town just across the main road from Laurel Cottage which was very convenient for us.

The house is part of a building that is shared with doctors consulting rooms. Their was no aircon in the room. The exit of the premises was right next to our bedroom window. Meaning all the guests had to pass our window directly to exit.

Quality accomodation in perfect location for eating out in Franschhoek. Only criticism is pool is next to one unit out of three sections of the property. When different families are sharing the property some do not feel comfortable about invading the space of the unit closest to it.

Excelente opción en Franschhoek, a una cuadra del tram de viñedos y cerca a todos los restaurantes y catas de vino. Excelente servicio de Pinky, la host, muy atenta y el lugar impecable! La comunicación con ellos siempre fue Excelente. Seguro regresamos con ellos.

Laurel Cottage is central in Franschhoek within walking distance of most of the restaurants . The cottage is well equipped for self catering , clean and with a small pool which is very necessary in summer. We had a very enjoyable stay .
