Spent a night here, just off the interstate and more reasonable rates than the other Hiltons closer to Nashville. The location was also good to explore the town for Franklin as well. Our room was clean and comfortable as one expects from this chain. The staff were friendly and helpful. And this location actually had my favourite hotel breakfast this day! Had a good night's sleep here and would stop here again.

Shocked ! Hampton Inn for years has always taken care of us until Now and they turned the other cheek when they should have addressed the issue The pool looked horrible possibly mustard algae, by no means was it clean! we were 2.5 hours away from home but decided to enjoy the pool on a hot summer's day.

YES - the staff are nice people. NO - the hotel is not updated. It's older and needs A LOT of upgrades. Our bathroom had mold. The A/C was out in the lobby, dining and kitchen area. The temp was up to 88 degrees and ownership didn't provide box fans, anything to move the air around. We felt genuinely sorry for the staff. We had a 2-night stay but couldn't eat in the heat. Maintenance changed 12' ceiling light bulbs DURING breakfast hours directly over the tables where guests were eating. Anything could have dropped onto guests food. What makes a great hotel? Clean and cool with good people. This hotel has one of three. They are lucky to have their staff.
