Title: First-class hotel at the Zoo - A successful experience Dear readers, I would like to tell you about my stay at the Zoo Hotel, a first-class hotel that offers an unforgettable experience. The buffet was not open to wishes and offered a variety of delicious foods that were freshly prepared. Such a delicious and varied breakfast allowed a power-laden start in the day. The staff at the zoo, especially Mrs Yasemin at the reception, deserve special mention. She was extremely premature, empathical and always ready to help. The service at the hotel was all the way of first-class and contributed significantly to a positive overall impression. The location of the hotel at the zoo is unslaughterable. With direct access to the zoo in the immediate vicinity, it is a great advantage especially for animal lovers and families. You can explore the zoo conveniently without having to walk a long way. The rooms at the hotel at the zoo are comfortable and tastefully furnished. They offer all the comforts you need during your stay to feel comfortable. The cleanness of the rooms was excellent and they were kept innocently. All in all, I can recommend the hotel at the zoo. The first-class location near the zoo, the rich breakfast, the friendly staff, especially Mrs Yasemin at the reception, and the comfortable rooms make the stay a round-round experience. Die Zimmer haben eine tolle Ausstattung, besonders die Küche fand ich top. Die Lage ist ruhig. Das Hotel bietet kontaktloses Check-in im Foyer an. Wenn man damit nicht zurechtkommt, muss man in den 7. Stock fahren. Der Schwenksessel im Zimmer ist eine tolle Idee, hält jedoch leider nur bis maximal 100 kg. Die WLAN-Verbindung ist sehr gut, und man kann komfortabel vom Hotel aus arbeiten. Es gibt auch einen Bluetooth-Lautsprecher, der sich leicht mit dem Handy verbinden lässt, sodass man seine Lieblingsmusik hören kann.

I am still staying at the hotel and my experience so far has been absolutely horrible. The checkin was so slow and the male receptionist was disinterested for any greetings let alone offering any help with baggage . Sent me through wrong side of the lift and had to take stairs to get to my room it would have been easier if I was advised to take only 3 steps of stairs and the then the lift which opens right outside the room I was allocated. The cleaning standards of the hotel are awful on next level. The room is so dirty , the corners are filthy and the situation under the beds is disgusting. The housekeeper enter your room to verify if you are staying over rather than checking the system at the reception. The cleaners seem bothered when you ask them to refresh your room and they don’t greet you at all. It’s like I always have to remind twice if I need something. Customer service runs in negative not even zero . I made the biggest mistake of choosing this hostel /hotel , I have never experienced this bad hotel in my life. My recommendation, spend a little more and book somewhere where the staff actually wants to work. Well apart from greeted by a lovely lady receptionist on Saturday evening , the day I checked in ,,, nothing is right about my stay.

A clean hotel with a good location near the station. Our room was on the 6th floor and thus we had a great view of the Skyline. The room was clean and adequately large. The station environment ok, but we were just sleeping there.

The location is a bit rough but they do a great job keeping everything clean and cozy. Water in the shower needs a few minutes to get hot but it works fine. Good for solo travellers who don’t mind the location.

Best hotel ive ever stayed in. Best location you could ever ask for. Just across the platform1 of the main train station. If your train arrives at platform1 you will arrive at the hotel in 30 seconds. Super safe. Very bright room. Will always stay here.

This was my third time at the Delta hotel and first time after 3 years. The stay was good but there were signs that the service level has somewhat decreased from before. The Delta hotel still has great value for location, nice and clean rooms, delicious breakfast and efficient service. However, there were many details missing and rooms have shown signs of wear and tear like stained carpet, worn sofa surfaces. For starters, got the keys of the Moxy hotel. Housekeeping missed to clean our room one day. Noone responded to my texts and requests on the app and I tried to call the hotel to notify about our delayed arrivals and noone picked up. After checkout, I’m still waiting for my folio and they only credited 1 out of 2 nights to my Bonvoy account. To their credit, the on-site requests were handled promptly. Fortunately the small misses did not affect our stay overall. In the end we did have a good stay and got a good value compared to other Marriott options in town.

Nice, modern hotel with relaxed staff. Rooms are clean, quiet and functional. Good location for the city center. Would happily come again.

Wow- My visit started with the most facetious, arrogant, condescending harridan I've ever had the misfortune to encounter at any hotel, ever. Baffling how such an obnoxious person is employed in the hospitality industry. I could write an entire review based on how horrible this person is, but it would likely be banned by Tripadvisor, so let's move on! However, the other staff member I met was the most awesome ever- and totally went above and beyond to ensure my A&O visit went as smooth as possible. (You know who you are- Thank You!!!) As for my lodging- I was relegated to an annex outside the main building, which was not too bad as the weather was agreeable. But having to walk outside to the reception, lounge, (closed) kitchen or breakfast area in the rain or snow would have been quite unacceptable. Like all A&Os the interior was spotless. My dorm however faced an open lane/parking area often populated by drunk vagrants- or maybe drunk guests. The ground was littered with beer bottles, cigarette butts, and smelly stains (you can figure that one out!). One of the few downsides about A&Os is that six bed dorms are often two pairs of bunks, and two single beds pushed together. Those two beds seems to come with a single locker, so the dorm may be lacking in that regard. The en-suite was great though- spacious and separate rooms for toilet and shower, both with sinks, lots of hot water and even a towel warmer. So yes, as I write the covid thing is still real, and precautions must be taken for the sake of the staff and guests. Which brings me to the only thing I could not abide: despite the hostel being nowhere near full, they seemed to pack each dorm to full capacity before opening another. As they say, there is a reason for everything. But if they want to take covid seriously, my hunch says fewer guests in more dorms might be safer. Especially when the common area washrooms are shuttered- what the heck!? To sum it all up- this may not sound like the best review, but I do generally recommend A&O Galluswarte. Someday when covid is a thing of the past and operations are back to normal, I hope to stay here again.

Very welcoming staff, large room with minimal amenities and sp****ly furnished. Nice, firm bed and choice of pillows. B/fast is a buffet type with plenty of good quality selections of all types of food, lovely teas in innovative tea mugs with sieve. Unfortunately, the very close motorway feeder roads are really noisy almost 24/7. This is not obvious from Google map and even when I arrived, it seemed all very quiet until I opened the window in my room. The passing cars' noise echos all around. Then to add to this, on Saturday night a nearby open air disco ran a massively noisy head banging music show. The repetitive thumping and crashing noises went on until almost 3 a.m.. Not what I call a hotel with sleep quality. The hot weather made sleeping with a closed window impossible.
