With direct access to the zoo in the immediate vicinity, it is a great advantage especially for animal lovers and families. You can explore the zoo conveniently without having to walk a long way. The rooms at the hotel at the zoo are comfortable and tastefully furnished. They offer all the comforts you need during your stay to feel comfortable. The cleanness of the rooms was excellent and they were kept innocently. All in all, I can recommend the hotel at the zoo. The first-class location near the zoo, the rich breakfast, the friendly staff, especially Mrs Yasemin at the reception, and the comfortable rooms make the stay a round-round experience. The guests really enjoyed their stay. The manager was very friendly and serviceminded and the bar were of good standards. It was a friendly environment, with pleasant people all around. The guests would really recommend this hostel, close to both the tram and metro. The guests would like to come back!

A man entered the room in the middle of the night, and this happened the first night and logically the last. When we went to sleep and shut the lights, in less than ten minutes, we heard something pushing the doors of the balcony, which was also due to the room distribution (top suite for 4 people) right at the head of the beds. After forced the balcony the man entered and logically we started crying everything we could and went. This was because there were work and works sticked to the balconies of the rooms We called the hotel reception and there were no answers, we went down to the reception and there was no one. A shame. We took everything and went to another hotel. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable. After this we took photos of the facilities and walks attached to the balconies and went to the Commission with a German friend and we filed a complaint that is already registered. The hotel is located right at the subway station exit, very close! The breakfast is rich and delicious. Many breads are freshly baked. The croissants are absolutely delicious! The big bed + sofa bed is more convenient to live in You can walk to the main attractions, churches, etc. Very satisfied! The only thing is that they do not provide slippers, toothpaste, toothbrushes and other disposable items. Friends who are used to hotels providing these should pay attention

This was a decent hotel to stay at with my friends. No problems to complain about really. Could easily compare to a travel lodge in the uk which is why I have given it an average score Beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. The ease to check out whenever was also a bonus

The location is very good, there is a tram stop at the door. Not far from the downtown, and avoiding the noisy environment.

Ich glaube, ich habe das schonmal geschrieben: Wenn man sich hier ins Bett legt, hat man das Gefühl, die Matratze schlägt über einem zusammen. Als Gegenpol gibt es dann ein quasi steinhartes, mit den heute üblichen Kunststoff-Abfällen gefülltes Kissen. Beides zusammen die ideale Kombi, um sich am nächsten Morgen nach dem Aufwachen (falls man denn geschlafen hat) im Rücken- und Halswirbelbereich so richtig schlecht zu fühlen. Eigentlich war ich bisher von der Marriott-Gruppe ganz brauchbare Betten gewohnt... Ansonsten? Ich mag es einfach nicht, wenn ich ungefragt an der Rezeption oder irgendwo anders geduzt werde. Da kann das Haus noch so hip daherkommen wollen - ich finde es einfach unpassend. Meine Kollegen übrigens auch, aber das ist sicher Geschmackssache. Das Haus ist neu, das Konzept entspricht quasi 1:1 einem Motel One: Frühstück im Foyer, keine Bar nach 22 Uhr, komisches Design wo man hinschaut (s.o.: Hip). Okay, das wirklich ziemlich kleine Zimmer war okay, wenn man von den komischen pinkfarbenen Bildern absieht und wenngleich jegliche Annehmlichkeiten fehlten, die man sonst in einem Hotel so hat. Eine Handtuchstange zum Beispiel. Oder eine Ablage (wenn es schon keinen Schrank gibt). Das Frühstück war ganz gut, ebenso die Tiefgarage. Man kann wieder hingehen, wenn man in der Gegend zu tun hat - muss man aber nicht.

Stayed here for a work trip. Wouldn't recommend as in my locked hotel room, someone went through my bags, stole my laptop and iPad. Came back to my hotel room - still locked - but items now stolen. Getting Michael, the manager, to then deal with the request was difficult and now months on still have no correspondence from himself as he didn't want to deal with the situation. He has been rude and no help. Another member of staff helped me resolve the situation and receive rightful compensation. I also wouldn't recommend staying there because across the street (and the block really) is a lot of construction going on. Not really the fault of the hotel, but a warning as it is a long-term construction that will wake you up - particularly in the summer when you have the windows open. I do, however, want to thank the front of desk staff who do their absolute best and provide great service in spite of what Michael, the manager, can provide to them. If you are forced to stay here, don't take anything valuable or at the very least carry it with you at all times as it is not safe in the hotel room. Even if buried in your suitcase with a locked door.

The hotel itself was lovely. Rooms were nice, staff were helpful, and it smelled aggressively good. The location is good in that it is close to the train station and the downtown core, but it is just a couple blocks away from an area with people using drugs, etc. Would definitely avoid if plan to be out in the evenings. It is possible to avoid this area for the most part with careful planning of routes but the proximity to this area was a definite downside.
