Hotels in Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, Frankfurt

We stayed in Frankfurt at the beginning of our trip in Germany and found that you have to be careful when booking hotels in northeast area of the central station in Frankfurt but the area to the south where this inn is located is perfectly safe. This is a Japanese style business hotel and we tried out a location in South Korea that we enjoyed and we enjoyed this one too. We got the room with two twin beds and they have standardized furnishings and technology no matter where you are in the world at these hotels. The air conditioning was very good and had a good quiet function that maintained the temperature of the room perfectly. The beds were comfy and the pillows and blankets were just thick enough. The room has a very well planned layout and utilizes the space well with a desk area, coffee/tea station, mini fridge and a seating area by the window. There is plenty of lighting in the room and some quiet switches on the lamps. A pleasant surprise for us was the view we got of the central station and many buildings nearby - we could sit there and watch trains and trams come and go. The bathroom is compact but mighty with its well thought out modular design. There is a Japanese toilet with lots of pleasant features. The sink's faucet can fill the bath tub and also controls the shower wand and pressure. The shower has a wide spot in the middle that is perfect for standing in and has an overhead rain shower head with good pressure and good temperature control. The water for drinking can get pretty cold which was nice and refreshing. The location was good and walking along the river to the old town area is a very pleasant stroll. There are some restaurants, bars and shops nearby. The central station has lots of trains, busses and trams that can take you anywhere in the city. The S9 train departs for the airport every 20 minutes and takes about 12 minutes to get there. There is a restaurant in the lobby area that has good prices for beer. There is also a laundry area in the hotel and a large parkade across the street from the hotel. I dropped off my wife first before returning a car and there was a fire alarm and she found it difficult on how to exit. Thankfully no issues but they need to have clearer signage. The breakfast was very good with plenty of variety including mostly western style breakfast options like scrambled eggs, sausages, bread and cheese. When we stayed there were some noodles for breakfast. They had juices, tea and a coffee machine. We found the cups provided for the coffee machine were too small for a few of the options. There is a courtyard to sit in and a large cafeteria style seating area. Breakfast is popular and was especially busy after 8 on Saturday morning when we visited. They provide trays that you can load up and bring to your table but many people were forgetting to clear their tables and bring them to the tray racks because the staff does not clear tables and is more focused on making sure all food spots are well stocked.

We traveled with a family of four. The kitchenette was convenient for cooking, and the staff was friendly. It seems like a good place for a long-term stay. The rooms were spacious. All major tourist attractions are within walking distance. The only downside was that the bathtub didn't drain properly. Some drunken guests were noisy in the early hours of the morning, but overall, it was a good place to stay.

This hotel is nice and modern with an excellent breakfast. We booked the hotel knowing that it had a great location for walkers because we had planned exploring Frankfurt by foot. It is conveniently close to Frankfurt's Central Station which allows quick access to the airport. The front desk was hit or miss. We arrived very early and were able to store our luggage but when we came to check in and check out they had difficulties determining if we had paid or not and we did pay in advance of our stay. The rooms were compact but still enough room for all of our things. They have metal shelving and hangers in the room for our items, a large TV and a Bluetooth speaker. The bed was comfy for me and had two good pillows for each side but my wife found it was too soft. The room had a large window that opened both ways to keep the room at a good temperature but it gets a bit noisy at night so we appreciated the temperature control in our room with good air conditioning. The bathroom is also compact but the shower stall is a good size with good shower pressure and a nice all in one shampoo/hand wash/body wash. The bathroom had a fan that turned on with the lights and it worked well. Everything was very clean. We really enjoyed breakfast. There was a good spread of deli meats, cheeses, and breads. They had some good juices, ginger shots, a variety of looseleaf tea and two coffee machines. They also had some unique items that were good like tapas, meatballs, and a pancake making machine. The breakfast area is at the top of the hotel and was not too busy when we went and converts into a bar later in the day. If you can get a deal where the breakfast is included in your stay it is worth it. The hotel's location seemed nice at first because it is tucked away and is on a pretty quiet close in the daytime but that changes around dusk. Turns out the area just to the northeast of the central station is where people hang out to get drunk and do ***** on the street. I saw more needles than my grandma's cookie tin. There is a big police presence and we never felt unsafe as people kept to themselves but we wouldn't recommend this area to a family. It is a short walk to Frankfurt's main attractions and some good restaurants. There are some convenience stores and grocery stores nearby too. The front desk sells some snacks and drinks and that might be better if you aren't keen on going out. When we stayed in Frankfurt the price was right at this hotel and the location seemed good for our itinerary so we didn't think much of it. We would consider this hotel again if the price is good and the breakfast is included but we may also consider elsewhere for peace of mind.

Good location

Health is general, even if there is a foreign body visible to the naked eye in the bed every day. There is no special problem with eating breakfast, but it is the same every day, and it is still mandatory, living for a long time, there is no appetite at all in the morning. Small ice bar is OK to give you two cans of drinks every day, but the power problem, the sound is a bit loud. The price is not a bit depressing overall, the toilet is OK. The staff are very friendly, if it is a short-term waiting for business trip is very economical. During the epidemic, the nucleic acid test agencies recognized around the close and convenient.

The hotel occupied two old mansions and is located near the railway station, which is convenient but not the greatest neighbourhood if you are a tourist. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with quality materials throughout (oak hardwood floor, marble in the bathroom etc). The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding of very high quality. The room was very quiet and I could open the window. The best part was the breakfast buffet, which was a level above what you normally see in quality and variety. There is also an à la carte menu from which you can order at no extra charge. Overall I had a fantastic experience and warmly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is good - new & modern. Location is not too near fr central station but can walk in about 8-10 mins (about 600 m). The breakfast is fine. Staff is ok.

Very easy to access from Frankfurt Central Station. The in-room facilities are on par with Japanese business hotels, so there are no major issues. As is common in Europe, there is a frosted glass door between the toilet and the bedroom, which can be seen through the gap, which may be a concern for some people. Drinks in the fridge were included in the stay. Breakfast was also of sufficient quality. The service of making omelets and scrambled eggs was also good. However, I was disappointed that although I was able to connect to WiFi near the front desk, I couldn't connect to it in my room for some reason (though it may have been an issue with my device).

Disadvantages: The room is a bit cold, and it is a bit crowded for two adults and one child to sleep in. The quilt is also very thin. The room has a musty smell. Advantages: It is very close to the train station, and it is the best choice for waking up early to catch the train.

We chose this hotel out of curiosity of its creative concept, it doesn’t disappoint us - unique/ energetic/ vibrant/ young/ in-trend with its own character. Friendly & helpful front desk team. Room is small but smartly structured to utilise space - especially love there are wall hangers to hang our clothes/ bags. 2 things kinda disturbing: the surrounding is not that feel safe, red light district and a lot of non-local we believe that wondering around eyeing on you for unknown reason; also the room doesn’t come with toilet door, if anyone needs to sleep with lights off, it will be awaken should there be midnight need to go to the WC. Maybe consider to have at least a curtain as a partition/ light in the WC itself ( there is a door to thenWC though)
