The hotel is located next to the zoo, next to the exit of the metro station. There is no direct line from the station (it takes one change), but only a few stops.
The hotel is quite old, but the room was clean, everything worked in the bathroom. The windows looked out onto the courtyard. For one night it's ok.

The two men at the reception were very friendly.
There was a large-scale strike going on in Germany at the time, but they were happy to help with questions about transportation to the airport and other matters.
Facilities included the bare minimum, and the room was simple.
The elevator was broken, so they carried my luggage up to my room, but I had to carry it myself when I checked out. I was on the second floor, so it was fine, but if I'd been on the third floor or so it would have been quite difficult to carry heavy luggage down.
