中心地に位置しており、雨でもほぼ濡れずに地下鉄駅へ行けます。立派な外見でホテルに出入りする際は気持ちが良いです。
デラックスルームに宿泊しましたがかなりの広さでソファもあり部屋自体は静かで快適でした。しかしエアコンからずっと冷たい風が出ており、日中30℃を超える日でも夜は長袖長ズボン必須でした。この件はフロントに伝えたところ、テクニカルを派遣して直したとのことでしたが、直っておらず寒かったです。また五つ星なのにシャンプーとコンディショナーでなく、コンディショニングシャンプーだったのは驚きました。毎日のハウスキーピングはしっかりされている一方、老朽化やメンテナンス不足も散見されます。スタッフは皆さん丁寧でキッチリしておられますが、ホスピタリティというのは特に無いです。スーツケースは自分で部屋まで運びますし、朝食会場ではコーヒーや紅茶を持ってきてはくれません。
朝食は毎日同じメニューでしたが、とてもおいしかったです。部屋のアメニティや朝食会場のティーコーナーがロンネフェルトのもので、これは凄く良かったです。
クラシックなホテルですので設備等は五ツ星としては至らない点はありますが、フランクフルトを代表する立派なホテルで建物や朝食等は素晴らしいです。
