OYO la Spada Boutique Hotel

On entering the property we was greeted by the reception staff they were very friendly and helpful, they made our short stay feel at ease, had everything we needed and the owner was so polite even carried my bag upstairs and said anything we need just ask. Really can’t fault our room was lovely felt homely & cosy, the area was nice & quiet. Highly recommend this place. We had the family room as it was the last one left for us to book & was a great size room. 10/10

Very eco friendly as only half a roll of bog roll Stayed here a few years ago and was great very disappointed with this visit room was freezing heating put on as entered room draughts from windows closed was gale force toilet no heating whatsoever and again draught froze you when going to the loo Half a roll of cheap loo roll for 2 adults ???? Thank god the Mrs brought wipes A mini telly only fit for a small caravan Very very disappointed not sure if Roberto still here if he is standards have slipped Premier inn next time sadly

The bed was very comfortable - that's as good as it gets!!! The rooms are very tired and not very clean. The bath in our room had not been cleaned properly prior to our stay. Thankfully it was one night so I managed without using the facilities. There was no hot water at the sink either. The manager was adamant that this was not the case, but after running the tap for at least ten minutes, still nothing. All three mugs in the room were dirty. The shelf in the bathroom was on the slant and not usable. The shaving lamp in the bathroom didn't work, maybe this was to do with the think layer of dust sitting on it?? The view out of the rear of the property overlooks an overgrown garden with all kind of rubbish dumped there. We tried to put these points over to the manager after our stay as we had a very early checkout (thankfully!!) and he was abusive towards us, accusing us of having too much alcohol (one person had had two pints of cider!!) and put the phone down on three occasions. Please avoid staying here at all costs!!!

No breakfast option but the restaurant was nice. The staff were polite, attentive and made you feel welcome. Well done! The waiting area was cosy and well decorated. The food was reasonably priced and very enjoyable. The hotel room its self had a comfy bed and the folded towels and free toiletries on the bed was a nice touch. The room could have just benefitted from more cleaning and care. it had dusty furniture and bathroom a bit grimy. The bathroom shelf was very loose and any toiletries put on it just fell straight off. There was old water in the kettle and the tv didn’t work. One of two windows wouldn’t open. Apart from that an enjoyable stay.
