Hotel Drover, Autograph Collection

One of the nicest hotels I stayed in the U.S.. Came here for a one night staycation during Christmas. The entire hotel (indoors and outdoors) was beautifully decorated - on top of the already very nice Stockyards/Cowboy theming the hotel usually has. Upon check-in we were upgraded to the Vice Presidential Frontier Suite, which was not only very spacious but also beautifully decorated and came with its own Christmas Tree. The entire outdoor/garden of the hotel was also very nicely decorated with thousands of lights, gigantic Christmas tree, fittingly topped with a cowboy hat, and much much more. Service was also great and everyone was extremely nice. Dined at the hotel restaurant (97 West) on Christmas Evening and had breakfast there too the next morning, similarly to everything else in the hotel, the restaurant was beautifully decorated, the staff was very nice and the food tasted great. Would definitely come again and can highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the DFW area who wants to stay in a beautiful and unique luxury hotel.

Absolutely everything at the Drover is a TEN! Accommodations, smells, food, activities, staff - everything is first class!

I’ve stayed at true luxury hotels, like a $1,500-a-night Telluride, CO property with spacious, spotless rooms and stunning views, and a $2,000-a-night Montana ranch where I had my own chef and a bathroom bigger than my entire room at Hotel Drover. So I know what premium should feel like, and this wasn’t it. For what Hotel Drover charges, I expected something special. Instead, I got a tiny, not-so-clean room and a cramped bathroom. We were put in the worst part of the hotel, right at the front where cars revved their engines and blasted every kind of music imaginable all night long. So much for “quiet and relaxing.” Housekeeping lost my pajama top when they made up the bed and accidentally took it with the blankets. Despite the housekeeping manager being sympathetic, it was never returned. The front desk staff never even asked how our stay was — probably because they already know the answer. Bottom line: Hotel Drover charges luxury prices without delivering anything close to it. Don’t waste your money. There are much better hotels in the Stockyards at a fraction of the cost and they might actually let you sleep at night.

Great hotel in the Stockyards! Everything was fantastic except the Hotel WiFi is completely hacked. Do not get on it or you might inadvertently get a lot of malware and viruses on your phones, computers, etc, Food is great at the restaurant. Parking is expensive ( not covered so your car gets baked in the sun)

Parked and charged my EV at the Hotel Drover during a visit to Fort Worth Stockyards. The valet, Richard, couldn't do enough to help, downloading the app to charge my hire car on his own phone, making recommendations for my visit and even helping me hook the car up. Only wish I'd been staying in Fort Worth so that I could have enjoyed the rest of the hotel's facilities.
