The hotel is clean and tidy.

Breakfast buffet was good. Room was basic for $300/night. Stayed in better for less.. Front desk women were really kind at check-in.

We arrived early and were very grateful that we were able to get a room a couple hours before checkin time. While I was checking in, there was an extremely unprofessional lady (I think she may have been the manager) on the phone speaking extremely loudly and ghetto (it’s the best way to describe her conversation). She was on the phone speaking about getting keys from another location because this location was had low quantity. She went on to say something about the payment and a check needing to clear. I attempted to block out the conversation while I was being checked in but she was sooooo loud. The young lady checked us in and I was actually surprised that we did not receive any type of welcome gift similar to what we receive for elite status. Not even water. We were in a corner room with an amazing view. The room was spacious; however, the bathroom was very tight. The toilet is literally in front of the door which made it tight getting in and out of the bathroom. The room was overall clean, except the floor doesn’t seem to be mopped often. I accidentally dropped some food and got a wet paper towel to wipe it up and it was filthy. The location is perfect with access to lots of high end restaurants. However, gluten free options are limited. I stayed at a different hotel about a block or so away earlier during the summer and it was an absolute struggle trying to find good gluten free options in this area. I doubt that we will return to this location, although I really wanted to like it.

I booked a room, dinner, valet parking, and a spa treatment as a gift for a friend. She really enjoyed the hotel. She loved her massage at the spa, and she said dinner at Whiskey & Rye was good. I’m glad she enjoyed her stay so I definitely feel like it was worth it, but this is my first time dealing with a luxury hotel and I’m a bit surprised that everything seemed so difficult. For starters, I booked the room online. I called to confirm I’d done so correctly because it was a gift and I didn’t want any problems. Initially, I was told the room needed to be in my name and that my friend could be listed as an extra person in the room. I was told that the manager would email me a credit card authorization form and that I’d need to fill it out and fax it back by a certain date. I never received a form so I called back. I was told that the room needed to be in my friend’s name and that I’d be emailed the authorization and I could email it back when I filled it out. I got an authorization link but it wasn’t a form I was meant to fill out, it was just for prepayment but it was listed for $0. I called back again and asked to talk to a manager just to make sure there wouldn’t be any issues. He set me up with everything and said he’d email the authorization. It never came through so I had to call back. Eventually, I got the proper authorization link and prepaid. My friend had no issues with her stay. One thing I found annoying was that I prepaid for a 50-minute massage at the spa. I also paid for a $50 activity credit for dinner. I noticed I was overcharged and my friend said her card was charged as well despite the manager assuring me they just needed her card on file, that I’d be the only one with charges for the accommodations, taxes, and incidentals. Again, I had to call several times and ended up never being able to speak to who I needed to. I emailed corporate and I got connected to who I needed to, but it’s a process and each email reply takes 24-48 hours. I was told that the massage actually costs $50 more than the credit I’d paid for, which seems misleading. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t attach a monetary value to the spa credit instead of advertising it as a fully paid 50 minute massage. Because of that, the credit I’d purchased to cover dinner was applied to the spa treatment, which meant I’d paid $52 for dinner out of incidentals. It’s not a huge issue, but it just feels misleading. The charge on my friend’s card also fell off and I was told that someone should’ve explained she’d have a hold placed on that card in the event of damages. No one did, and I would’ve paid more toward the room and incidentals initially if I’d known that. I’m really glad my friend enjoyed her stay but I don’t know if I’d feel inclined to book here again in the future. The added packages seem more like a headache than just paying for stuff outright. We stayed here for 2 nights and couldve any happier with our choice. My son had a competition at the Convention Center and I was able to take a Lyft relatively cheap and not deal with the parking down there. Staff is wonderful, accommodations were perfect. The location is great, close to food, shopping, whatever we needed was not far away. So happy we chose to stay here and will stay again next year if my son competes at the same venue.

First, the good. The staff was great. They did the best they could with what they have to work with. This Springhill could use a refresh. Here was my experience. I checked in and went to my room. The room looked fine, but oddly, the vent fan was on in the bathroom. And I'm glad it was, because that let me know that the light was burnt out in the bathroom. I called down and let them know, and since I hadn't unpacked, we decided it might be quicker and easier to move to a different room. They brought new keys and met me at the new room. In the new room, the TV wouldn't work. No signal. Again, the staff came to trouble shoot and they couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. So it was on the the third room. When they brought my keys for room three, they also brought a few bottles of water and some microwave popcorn. Nice touch. The new room worked fine. Until it was shower time the next morning. When I pulled up the tab to divert the water to the showerhead, it diverted about half the water. So I had water through the showerhead and through the tub spout. And finally, I was happy to have the shampoo, conditioner and shower get dispenser on the wall in the shower. I prefer the dispensers to the little plastic bottles, and the shampoo and conditioner were good quality products. But when I pressed the pump for the shower gel? It was empty... :-( All in all, great people working at a property that apparently needs some attention.

Back to my alma mater, stayed at the hotel near the school, ate the best The Dutch's burger, Fruitealicious was still open, drank classic pearl milk tea, held a membership card to enjoy the best gym in the United States, and went to the business school to study for yourself. It was a pleasant business trip holiday! Our TCU is getting better and better, Go Frogs!

I have stayed many times this place it has fallen off the rooms are getting run down fast due the amount of trash that stays in the area you can find drug addicts walking around the hotel I seen one on the second floor one time tripping on watch’s that obviously stole those watch bans where still there in my next trip which was months later I thought it was strange anyways they don’t change things here I have stayed many times and each time I stayed I had to move to two or three different rooms because they either didn’t change the sheets after the previous customer black hairs all over the sheets and top blankets looks like hey have nasty stains from god knows what on them plus the spiders which they won’t spray for the blame it on exterior doors they have poisonous spiders here in Texas they don’t care about you here. I have stayed many times and instead of changing the things you complain about they told me I am no longer allowed to stay I don’t care If I where you I’d stay anywhere else there are many properties that want you there and will bend over backwards to make you happy
