Deluxe Inn Fort Stockton

This place is very low-priced, and the reviews that stated small & simple but clean attracted us. Our room was definitely not clean. You could tell that overall, it's a nice, clean, no-frills mom-and-pop place. But maybe they're having staffing problems. The bathroom had hair on the floor, the sink, fixtures, and mirror were just as the last user left them. Floor around the toilet not wiped. There was a plastic bag of (pretty gross) trash still in the room. The microwave had dried rice on the turntable. Grime on the doors. I try to be fair and understanding, and I almost never write a negative review, bur until you read that the owner/manager has remedied the situation I would not risk it. I am hoping this is read by the person in charge and the person who did not do their job is dismissed. The gentleman in the lobby was apologetic and offered to clean it himself, but I had already attacked everything with Clorox wipes.

A bit rough around the edges, but the bed & bathroom were clean, and the price was great. Clean place to stay for a good value is all I was looking for. And the room also had fridge/microwave.

Excellent price for clean roomy space in a safe area. No frills but for a night to rest while traveling, you can't get better!!

Clean, comfortable, nice folks, fair price. Pretty much covers it.
