We stay at this hotel when we visit family and friends in Fort Scott and have done so since it opened. Owner/operator Bill Michaud provides a very clean facility with a stellar staff. Managers and front desk staff Lorie, Candice, and Heather were friendly and accommodating. Our last visit was during the FHSH All-school Reunion at the end of June, so literally hundreds of visitors from out-of-town were in Fort Scott. Sleep Inn was very busy, and the front desk staff, housekeeping, and breakfast attendant (I wish I had written down her name!) were patient, professional, friendly, and efficient. I truly do not know what I would do if we had to stay somewhere else. One of the most important factors to note is that, although Sleep Inn and Suites is no longer new, it is very well maintained and clean.

Last minute emergency stay turned fantastic! The check in lady at noon on 4/19 was fantastic! We left the car out front, changed into wedding attire, and flew out the door. We came back and got to relax in a NEW king suite! I received a nice Easter greeting from the breakfast server! And the food was THE Best!!! The checkout was friendly and easy! THIS IS the place to STAY!

Friendly staff and clean property that is close to most everything. Parking can be sparse as this is a transient worker hotel for projects in the area. Outdoor sitting area was a bonus. Only complaint was the breakfast attendant who stayed in the front office laughing and neglected to keep breakfast items replenished with guests waiting to eat.

The staff are incredibly kind. This was my second stay and I have been impressed with the kindness of the entire Staff. The WiFi drops from time to time, but my stays have been great!
