Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fort Myers Near JetBlue Park

Everything to the staff was amazing I loved the stay the cozy beds and pillows the breakfast and the pool was amazing and very chill would definitely stay again

Check-in was fine. The second day I was there however the room began to smell of cigarette smoke (I don't smoke). Later on that evening I'm not sure if another guest set off the fire alarm or if the lighting struck so close to the hotel that the fire alarm went off but it kept going off for about an hour which was just obnoxious, but that part is out of their control. My biggest issue was the morning of my checkout there was a (live) roach on the bathroom floor. I presume it came from the drain in the floor considering that was the only one I had seen the entire time I was there (3 nights) but it was enough for me to be incredibly grossed out and leave the room a little later than I intended on because I went through all my bags to ensure I didn't have any unwanted passengers.

Check in was not great. The attendant was locked in an office and our interaction was through a computer monitor and was just an overall impersonal vibe. I previously checked in online before arrival because I knew I world be checking in after 7pm and was led to believe all I had to do was pick up my room key, but I actually had to do the process all over again which was a little time consuming by not having an actual person at the front desk. The room was spacious, and clean enough. The beds were not comfy but are hotel beds ever really. The pillows were awful…. they were not even standard size, more like a travel size and immediately went flat. The only problem I really had was there was no security. At night the front desk attendant was never seen because he was locked in an office I assume and there is a side door with key access but it was never locked the entire time I stayed…day or night. I wouldn’t stay here by myself because of the lack of security. You can freely walk throughout the hotel and no one questions you or even really notices you. Good location, easy access to various restaurants and stores. Surprisingly quiet as it was near airport.

This is a nice clean and well managed property. Great location near Florida Gulf coast University. Friendly staff with attention to detail. Plan to make this my hotel stay while visiting University. I recommend to others. The only suggested that I would recommend is to offer more fruit option in breakfast area.
