Crowne Plaza FT. Myers Gulf Coast

After a cancelled flight, I checked I to the hotel and had a good experience. The hotel team efficiently checked me in and was able to recommend som local restaurants in the area. There was also a fire pit outside that was comforting and needed after a stressful day at the airport. Service at breakfast was so attentive I felt the need to leave a generous tip despite it being included. Probably the best choice I could have made after a flight delay.

Great stay. Easy access from interstate highway. Great staff, good bar and restaurant area. Room was very clean and nice comfy bed. Used our IHG anniversary night for the stay. Great views from room. Breakfast was very good buffet style. Would recommend

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks largely to the fantastic staff. The night manager, Nick, was especially impressive—he handled our last-minute changes with ease and made sure everything went smoothly. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, making our visit truly enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

Splendid Hotel recently had a make over to such a high standard you would think you are in a brand new hotel. The bedroom had very pleasant decor with a comfortable bed. Bathroom a good size with walk in shower. We had free breakfast from a comprehensive buffet which is open daily to 11.am. The pool area was very nice good size so you can do lengths for one’s daily exercise also a hot tub is situated next to the pool. Extremely friendly staff

My room was spotless, spacious and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend the Crowne Plaza Fort Myers Gulf Coast specially because it is close to the airport.

We've stayed here three times since 2022 and without hesitation I can say it's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Most recently I stayed there with my partner for 5 nights in April 2025 for a Grief Retreat, and it was like a home away from home for us. Just the right type of care and comfort we needed for a retreat of this magnitude. Kurt & Greg took care of us from start to finish. They welcomed us with open arms and great conversation upon checking in, like we had already met and were just catching up. When we got to our room, we noticed the AC wasn't running cold. We went downstairs and told them about it, and within minutes Greg moved us to a new room with ice cold AC. When we got back to our room to move our belongings to the new room, their wonderful maintenance tech Ray was already on the case and was working to repair the malfunctioning AC. Anytime we needed a shuttle ride, Kurt & Greg were there to make sure we got to where we were needed. The food and drink at the hotel restaurant Oasis is very good, and Meghan and Karen at the bar make the best drinks! Meghan was a pro mixologist and Karen was the glue that held everything together! They were both always very attentive and it never took long to get service at the restaurant and bar. On several nights Karen worked well past the 11:00pm closing time to make sure everyone had what they needed! The back patio offers up so many different types of activities to relax & recharge. At night there's a fire pit to keep you warm on cool nights, there's a pool & spa, and every few minutes you can watch planes land & take off at the nearby airport. There's also wonderful lake behind the back patio where you can spot a few alligators if you look hard enough! Not to mention the free shuttle from the airport that takes you to/from the hotel! And we never had to wait long for it. The shuttle is such a wonderful added incentive to stay at this hotel. By the time we were ready to check out, it was hard to leave. It was like saying goodbye to an old friend. But just like goodbyes are hard, "Hello Again" is always around the corner and we look forward to returning to the hotel to reconnect with everyone we met.
