Wyndham Garden Fort Myers Beach

I have stayed at this small hotel every winter for the last 8 years. I liked the location and the beach area. The hotel continues to go downhill each year. Stayed for 6 nights in January. The place was grimy from the hallway through the main entrance to the sidewalks in the interior perimeter and the floor of our poolside room. There have been no updates since our first started visiting. The bathroom has chipped sinks and the headboards are wobbly. Room service is sketchy, not asking for a thorough cleaning every day but trash was not emptied and towels were hard to get. The floor was swept 1 time. We tipped the service staff and never complained. They were friendly, just inefficient. Front desk staff was not even friendly. I know the pandemic has caused issues for all businesses, but the decline started before covid. I'm sad that I won't be back next year.

Overpriced crap,horrible service atmosphere similar to a truckstop. They make you buy bottled water and it is a hole in the wall place. Tiny seafood salad with overcooked tiny frozen shrimp (2) and 2 undercooked scallops for $18.00. Chicken raw and marsala tasted like cheap beef broth stay away!! Too many great restaurants around to waste your time and money worst experience ever

I make multiple visits each year to the Wyndham FMB and have never been disappointed. Maxine and her staff continue to do an awesome job to make my stay so very pleasant. Everything that I need is right there, on the beach, or across the street!

We always go to Ft Myers Beach every Labor Day and we decided to stay at the Wyndham. We had a wonderful time. The pool was so nice. Pinchers restaurant is right on property and their Happy Hour was great. Our room was spacious n bathroom was very large. The staff was pleasant also. We’d definitely return

Short trip. Stayed two nights, next time we'll stay longer. I paid for a partial view, so I was very pleasantly surprised when we got an oceanfront room. We had everything we needed, two double beds, small fridge, microwave and a beautiful, large balcony. The pool was awesome, not too cold. They could use a couple of umbrellas by the lounge chairs, but all the tables had umbrellas. The Pincher's restaurant was great and kept us from having to drive around looking for places to eat. Hotel and grounds were very clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.
