The hotel is on a huge beach but I preferred the pool and really fun Tiki bar. They had live entertainment at night and drink prices were very reasonable and the food was AWESOME. I would highly reccommend the hotel to adults that want to have a good time or a family looking for a great value and a lot of fun.

Typisch Amerikaans hotel met twee verdiepingen rond een groot zwembad voornamelijk bezocht door Amerikaanse gezinnen. Vriendelijke bediening. Kamers zijn wat gedateerd maar voldoen prima. De ‘queensize’ bedden zijn wat klein uitgevallen. De bar naast het zwembad is altijd bijzonder druk en elke avond is er live muziek. Er is parkeergelegenheid voor gasten.

I have stayed at this small hotel every winter for the last 8 years. I liked the location and the beach area. The hotel continues to go downhill each year. Stayed for 6 nights in January. The place was grimy from the hallway through the main entrance to the sidewalks in the interior perimeter and the floor of our poolside room. There have been no updates since our first started visiting. The bathroom has chipped sinks and the headboards are wobbly. Room service is sketchy, not asking for a thorough cleaning every day but trash was not emptied and towels were hard to get. The floor was swept 1 time. We tipped the service staff and never complained. They were friendly, just inefficient. Front desk staff was not even friendly. I know the pandemic has caused issues for all businesses, but the decline started before covid. I'm sad that I won't be back next year.

My husband and I stayed in an ocean view room and paid almost $500. The room was old and inhabited by the largest cockroaches I have ever seen. When we let the front desk staff know, they simply told us to have a pleasant day. I would not, under any circumstances, recommend this run down beach front hotel.

Overpriced crap,horrible service atmosphere similar to a truckstop. They make you buy bottled water and it is a hole in the wall place. Tiny seafood salad with overcooked tiny frozen shrimp (2) and 2 undercooked scallops for $18.00. Chicken raw and marsala tasted like cheap beef broth stay away!! Too many great restaurants around to waste your time and money worst experience ever

I make multiple visits each year to the Wyndham FMB and have never been disappointed. Maxine and her staff continue to do an awesome job to make my stay so very pleasant. Everything that I need is right there, on the beach, or across the street!

The area is gorgeous. We were technically "off-season" and the beach was not crowded. Room was so clean and the staff were helpful and truly friendly. We had a perfect beach trip and look forward to coming back! Beautiful to walk off the patio onto the sand! Right by a preserved area for sea turtles. We saw marsh rabbits and enjoyed nature!

We always go to Ft Myers Beach every Labor Day and we decided to stay at the Wyndham. We had a wonderful time. The pool was so nice. Pinchers restaurant is right on property and their Happy Hour was great. Our room was spacious n bathroom was very large. The staff was pleasant also. We’d definitely return
