Tyler and John were absolutely exceptional! Their customer service was outstanding—they were attentive and energetic. That passion made our experience enjoyable. Thanks to them, we had a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend this resort based on the incredible service they provided.

My family and I took a much needed vacation to this amazing resort in Ft. Lauderdale. The staff is very sweet and respectful! The beach staff was very attentive and friendly! I want to Thank Tyler and Kameron for making my family feel comfortable and satisfied! You guys rock!

We only went for one night. Rooms are nice and big. Front desk staff a bit rude. I asked for a late checkout (one hour) so we could enjoy the beach since the day before was raining and she told me no it was saved for their VIP guests. This was our second time staying there. We won’t be returning. I asked the night before and they told me to come back in the morning. The cleaning crew wasn’t even ready to clean our room when we left. Just not good customer service with the front desk at all. Other than that the place was great.

We had such a lovely stay. From the wonderful smell as we entered the hotel and our queen bed ocean view suite - everything was spectacular! LOVED waking up every day and overlooking the ocean. The pool and Lazy River were warm and amazing. Loved reading my book as I floated on the Lazy River. The staff at the pool, beach and serving the food was terrific — so helpful, bending over backwards for us, especially Tyler and all of the people helping there to set up the chairs and umbrellas just right. We will be back!

We love The Pelican and have been guests on several occasions. Most recently for 3 days as our residence is under renovation. The staff is always courteous and professional and the rooms are spacious, very comfortable with terrific views. My only constructive suggestion would be to step up the maintenance of common areas with respect to cleaning and painting. The elevators and exterior siding at the front entrance are clearly not being maintained. It's a charming and beautiful hotel but the items I noted are consistently in the same condition. It would not deter me from staying there but should be kept in better condition.
