Four Points by Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port

We stayed at the Sheraton Four Points before we boarded a cruise the next day. The hotel is conveniently located and has a shuttle service that stops at various hotels bringing passengers to the cruise port. (There is a charge.) The staff is friendly and professional. The room was fine. It was quiet as I recall. I think this is a poured concrete building, so it has been around for a while. There were negatives and positives. The hotel has a happy hour. This in in the area used for the breakfast buffet. It probably serves dinner too. It was the most depressing happy hour we can ever recall experiencing. Service took awhile. The fact a gin martini ran $8.00 was an unexpected positive. They used Gordon’s Gin, another positive. Breakfast was served in the same area. It was fabulous. Service was wonderful and very friendly. They made you feel welcome. The buffet featured the usual large selection you expect at a Marriott. As I recall, they also took orders for cooked egg breakfasts. Our breakfast was free as a Marriott Bonvoy perk. As I recall, the elevator was incredibly slow.

The room was spacious and the staff was friendly. The linen were smelly and the air in room seem unhygienic which led to a lot of coughing for my family
