Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal/Il Lugano

Pasamos 4 días en el hotel. Personal de la recepción correcto pero poco amable. De los 4 días que pasamos en la habitación no la limpiaron ninguno. El penúltimo dIa, tuvimos que quejarnos en recepción y a las 22:00 subieron a darnos sábanas y toallas limpias. Solo hicieron las camas, la camarera dijo que terminaba a las 22:00 y dejó el baño sin limpiar. Desayuno poco variado, pero correcto.

Spacious suite but with old and filthy carpet. No way to walk barefoot! Dangerous bathtub with a shower enclosure. Only one safety bar while the bathtub floor was slippery. I had to buy a bath mat to put on it and avoid the risk of falling. As if that wasn't enough, on May 10th, my birthday, my husband gave me a pair of Rayban sunglasses. When I sat down in the chair next to the valet door, I left the box with the sunglasses in the corner of the chair. After we left with the car, I remembered that I had forgotten it there. When we came back, it was gone. No one found it. No one saw it. I asked Mr. Mark at the front desk to look at the camera that was right above the place and he refused. He said he couldn't!!!! Believe it!!! It happened more than once. He refused. He said he couldn't. On June 12th, when we checked out, we left for two hours before leaving the room. When we came back, several items that were on the table were gone! The worst part was my husband's glaucoma eye drops, which I would have to use that night. We complained. In vain. The same answer. No one knows. No one took them. No one saw them. Then they showed up with about 3 items, but they had been adulterated since they were food. Of course we threw them away because they had Berto to eat. The worst of all, as already mentioned here in another review: the disregard of the reception staff, or rather, of one single MR. MARK. I travel at least two or three times a year and I always look for the Marriott chain because I have been a member for many years. About 14 or 15 years. I have never had any problems with other hotels I have stayed at, but NEVER AGAIN!!!

You don't deserve that! Dirty old rooms! FILTHY carpet! Torn headboard! Armchair with fabric hanging off! Dirty air conditioning! Dust covered fan! Damaged (broken) doors and furniture! Dirt everywhere... A GUARANTEE OF A NIGHT OF ALLERGY AND NOT HAPPINESS! A trap!!!! I used to stay at this hotel, but this seems to be the last time I'll stay. Because worse than the problems is the lack of commitment of the staff to the well-being of the guests. The indifferent attitude... the neglect towards the guest who is due to the problems caused by the hotel to their health (I had a serious allergy attack). Everyone, with rare exceptions, treats the guests/clients as if they were doing them a favor and not performing their duties. Therefore, in a hotel, the employees should be committed to the well-being of the client... but NOT here! THEY GUARANTEE THEMSELVES BY THE FACT THAT MANY HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR THE HOTEL WITHOUT REFUND AND THEY TREATED US LIKE TRASH! Run away. For what they charge, there are much better things in the city! Or...take anti-allergy medication! Believe me, you will need it!
