The Lago Mar Beach Resort and Club

Absolutely wonderful stay. Gorgeous room; really spacious with kitchenette and two bathrooms. We loved the food in the restaurant and the service was impeccable. We would very happily stay again and for longer! Thank you to the whole Lago Mar team.

My wife and I traveled from Northwest Missouri to Fort Lauderdale, Florida for some rest and relaxation at Lago Mar Resort & Club. I had booked this vacation destination two previous times in the past eight years, but the threat of hurricanes led me to cancel both reservations. We were both quite disappointed, but determined to make it happen this time around. Let me say that the wait was well worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed waking up everyday to breakfast at the Soda Shop where we had the privilege of meeting Fran. She’s full of conversation and had the energy of a much younger lady. We loved engaging with her, and were blessed to know her. We also spent time at the Promenade (pool) bar. Dony and Kelley provided top notch service and created some amazing cocktails for us to enjoy. We also spent time visiting the indoor restaurant and bar for the buffet breakfast and happy hour drinks. Needless to say, we valued and appreciated the entire staff for catering to our needs. I have to mention Fritz, the Concierge. I approached Fritz with a question regarding where I could drive nearby to get some air in my tires, as my “low tire pressure” indicator light came on in my rental car. Fritz told me that he would be right back without directly answering my question. He came back a few minutes later with an air compressor in his arms. We walked outside to my car in 95 degree weather. Fritz proceeded to air up all four tires while I was relegated to supervisor duty. He went from his desk in the air conditioned lobby to providing me with services that take the title of “concierge” to another level. These are just a few of our interactions while staying at Largo Mar. Absolutely everyone was super friendly and accommodating during our visit. From check-in to check-out it was a wonderful experience and pleasure to stay at Lago Mar. We have been back home just one day and have already spread the word of the 5 star hospitality and perks offered up at this fine resort. I would highly suggest that you book your next family or couples vacation at Lago Mar in Fort Lauderdale.

Fabulous resort! Have stayed there 4 times in the past 2 years. The staff is so friendly and hard working. Shout out to the bartenders Dany, Chuck, Mitch and Kelly! They were so much fun and very personable. Can’t wait to visit again. 😁
