Very nice hotel, super clean room, very nice pool, great view!
The pool is lined with palm trees and goes directly into a beach area with palm trees and a small playground, ideal for us as a family with small children.

We stayed at the Lago Mar Resort after a cruise to decompress and relax after the experience. Lago Mar came through way beyond expectations. This resort is exquisite, fancy, and exceptional. By that, I mean the experience here is high-end amenities and quality without the usual pretentiousness. This family-friendly resort has an outstanding pool area, putt-putt, pickleball courts, and more. If you want to do many things, this is your place. This is the place if you want a place to relax quietly in a serene atmosphere while working, reflecting, or reading. The amenities, location, views, and service are second to none. However, the price is reasonable considering the value and amenities. We were pleasantly surprised and wished we had booked more days there. I would happily go back there and plan to do so before and after cruises as often as possible.

This is a great place to vacation. Great restaurants on site, good bar and friendly staff. I would like to specifically recognize Ramon from the restaurant, Dany, Chuck, Mitch and Dennis from the bar. The resort has an adult pool so adults can actually relax while kids have fun at a different pool. Good musicians at the pool on weekends.

This is probable the 20th time our family have been here. I think that says it all. We think improvements should be made to the restaurant and bar, limited choices and come on we need a proper bar menu with cocktails etc. The little shop REALLY needs updating, so much potential and income streams if some thought goes into it. Overall we love it but definitely needs those improvements to keep up with the competition Reginald the guy at the pool was very good. Waitress serving us at dinner was poor, not cut out for that kind of setting. Couldn’t understand her, and she had poor communication.

Always a fun trip. Dany at Promenade bar makes every day worth another round and Ramon starts every breakfast with a smile. Look forward to seeing them both every year. Lago Mar never disappoints! Love the private beach, the ice cream shop and fun amenities! Always look forward to our next visit!

We have been going to this resort for 15 years! The service is fabulous, it is definitely a hidden treasure. Shout out to Reginal, who takes excellent care of us year after year when dining by the pool, he is truly a gem! The Fort Lauderdale ***** is a 15 minute walk down the beach, the private beach at the resort is never crowded. This is a smaller boutique style resort, there is a Fitnesscenter that is perfect, two pools – one of them adults only. Poolside bar and dining, which is available all day, on site breakfast buffet, which is wonderful. There is also an ice cream shop and breakfast bar on property.

This was our second time visiting Lago Mar. We went last summer and loved it so much we came back this summer. One perk that brought us back was the free beach chairs we used when we came in 2024. When we arrived this year we were disappointed to learn they were no longer free, but Kevin’s hospitality out at the beach made the cost worth it. Each day we arrived at the beach he remembered our names and greeted us as soon as he saw us. He would carry our chairs to our spot and overall had great customer service. Thanks again Kevin for making our stay so worth it!
