Homewood Suites by Hilton Fort Collins

The hotel is great. Comfortable. Good breakfast. Great Wednesday evening reception! But the people who work here are amazing. In our hustle to get out on our last morning, we left a bag in the room. Mind you, not a little bag. A good sized rolling carry-on! We didn’t realize it until we got to our destination 6 hours away! This bag has our medications in it and some other important articles needed for our next destination. After calling the hotel and speaking with Sandy and Emma, they sprung into action to find the bag and then coordinated with Zach to bring it to the local FedEx Office store to try and get it to me asap. Mind you, it’s a Friday and it’s 5:35pm! Unfortunately, the store wasn’t able to get it out until Monday and by the time it would arrive, wed need to be on to our next location. Zach learned of the FedEx Hub nearby that could get it overnighted but he has less than 20 minutes to get there before it closed at 6pm. And get there, he did! At 6pm I received a text message with my tracking info and the receipt! These three employees went above and beyond to take care of me and my family! They are the reason we will always choose this hotel every time we’re in the area!

Horrible service. Our room has no air conditioning in the middle of summer, temps getting into the high 80’s and 90’s while we’re here. The only solution they offered is a box fan and a discount. I asked if they could get someone to come fix it and the answer was just no. I went to open the windows in our room because it’s a first floor room, and all the windows were unlocked. So had I not done that, we would have been sleeping in a first floor room with unlocked windows. Would not recommend, stayed in the home2suites about a mile away the night before and it was great. Go there instead.

The service was great. The room was average. Hairdryer didn't work. The pool was like 65 degrees super cold. I do want to say finally all the staff was great!

Far less than expected Staying for a week in Fort Collins and decided to do a two bedroom suite instead of two hotel rooms. The first issue was that the pool was closed because, as the front desk person shared, "lots of kids peed in it last weekend." Two nights in a row, all three TVs in the room wouldn't work. I called the first time, and it took about two hours to fix. The second time, we just played cards. In addition, one of the bathrooms had clear water damage. The floor sagged, and the bathroom reeked of mold. We wouldn't stay here again.

The suite itself was nice. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with 2 queens and 1 king bed. The shower had apparently not been used in quite awhile, so we had to leave the hot water on full blast for probably 10-12 minutes before we got hot water (as opposed to luke warm water). The hallways were very cold, like someone had left a window open, but the heaters inside the rooms worked well. The hotel itself was in desperate need of a humidifier as we were constantly being shocked with static electricity. The breakfast was decent - they had breakfast tacos, scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries, fruit, yogurt, and cereal options, but no waffles if that's what you're looking for. The breakfast area also had a small collection of board games and puzzles for entertainment options. Overall it was a good stay, just a lot of little things that made it not super pleasant.
