Fort Collins Marriott

You would think that for the price, you would get breakfast -- or even some coffee in the lobby - but no, breakfast is not included and you can buy an $8 cup of starbucks coffee (regular coffee, not anything fancy) until noon and then NOTHING. I wish places I was doing business with would stop making Marriot the meeting hotel. UGH.

Hotel was just ok. Rooms are updated but it definitely wasn't the Marriott standard I am used to, random drawers in the room which were inconvenient to access. Could barely hang things in the closet because of a single shelf/drawer. No in room amenities except a coffee maker. No robes or bathroom supplies such as shower cap, cotton balls, etc. Glasses and cups not replaced daily. Bed was comfortable but the pillows went flat after about an hour. The shower had a shelf and shampoo holders mounted so that you would bang your arm on them, left me wondering if the person who designed this had ever stood in the shower. Bathroom door did not stay open because it was not installed properly. Breakfast menu stated taxes were included, but taxes were always added. The bar in the lobby was good, but very disorganized with some type of tag team approach which left us standing and waiting to pay our bill 10 min after our drinks were made. In hindsight, we should have just told the bartenders to bring us the bill. There are not a lot of full-service hotels in the area and this one is very mediocre. Next time we will save our points and $ and stay at the Courtyard. The front desk associates, were nice so there's a positive!

Great property! Nice beds and clean rooms!

Great stop. Friendly. Bar stayed open so I could watch the hockey game even though I was the only one there. Front desk was very helpful. Close to everything in FC.
