Harbor Lite Lodge

No pictures of the room, but there were so many nearby eateries and attractions! It was a tad bit hard to drive to from Crescent City, but aside from that this town was lovely! They had a drink station with coffee, tea and hot water and even an ice machine! :-)

We were on our second day of a 1500 mile ish motorcycle ride up the coast with zero plans, just landing wherever. We were eating dinner at Noyo River Grill, an excellent choice by the way, and the waitress suggested this hotel. We wanted safety for the bike and gear, and of course comfort. This place was perfect, albeit we got a deluxe room, which came with its own little convenient parking lot, however it was somewhat secluded, so we were a bit uncomfortable leaving the bike there, especially after seeing a couple of…. well let’s just say… less than desirable local individuals wandering around. I wouldn’t have worried about my car there, but the bike is pretty inviting. So we pulled it around to the main parking which was 100% better feeling. We had a beautiful view of the harbor right from our balcony, and even got to watch a little fox clean himself below. The welcoming desk staff was really nice, the room was very spacious, and the beds were comfortable, we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent facility. I go to Fort Bragg several times a year. This is my new "go to" place. Great staff, very clean modern facility, on site parking, close center of town, close to Noyo Harbor where the best seafood can be found, except most seafood restaurants are closed Monday and Tuesday

The photo's make it look a lot better than it is. Rooms are pretty dated. Bathroom light / fan is so loud it will wake your partner up in the middle of the night. TV only works for local few channels, streaming doesn't work. I called front desk and was told that a third party handles netflix and other streaming, so we can't do anything about it. Light flicker. Overlooks a river and trailer park. If you just need to get in late, sleep and get out, it is probably fine. Anything more than that, it is a no go.

If you prefer to not have your bed made daily - this is the place for you! If you like ants crawling on your morning coffee cup - this is the place for you! For $150 lodging fee per night, I expect my bed made daily & no multi legged bug critters on my morning coffee cup, in my room! Very unsatisfactory hotel/lodge, would never stay here or recommend this place to anyone! But will tell anyone about my experience. What a shame. My family owned motels in Las Vegas & this is not a good way to treat paying guests. The view from the balcony over the harbor is priceless & beautiful. Good luck on your stay - buy bug spray before you check in.
