If you don't have a harbor view, don't bother. Our "ocean" view was a parking lot. They called it a peek-a-boo ocean view. Maybe if you were 8 feet tall you could see the ocean - I couldn't. The fireplaces in some rooms are unusable. In about 10 minutes they turn the room into an 80-degree sauna, so you have to keep the fireplace off. So, no ambiance there. In fact, with no heat and no fireplace going, the room was still so hot I had to open a window in March and it was still warm. I also didn't appreciate the kitchen staff using a hose to clean out some kitchen things (sounded like pots) in the parking lot under the hotel windows at 10:00 at night, and talking rather loudly. This seemed to be every night. Doesn't the storm drain go to the bay? On the bright side, the views from outside are nice, the people are all very friendly, and the bar (although not big) is a perfect hotel bar. With the harbor just below the hotel through a gate, fresh seafood experience is always at your fingertips. Some restaurants nearby have stunning views. Parking is a little funky, but never seemed to be a problem.

Very charming room, although slightly noisy (maybe the refrigerator). Drapes leaked some light at night, but overall, an excellent inn. Sean, in the office, was extremely personable and helpful.

Towel overload Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, beautiful view. My only complaint is there were too many towels and no place to hang those we used. Seemed a little wasteful but definitely not a reason not to stay there.

Wonderful place where you are greeted by the sound of barking and splashing of the sea lions in the harbour in the morning. Fresh shrimp, and seafood on the harbor. Lovely little get away and delightful service at the hotel. We arrived in wonderful sunshine, and enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the harbor all afternoon. We left the next day in rain, but the place is still charming. Parking is easy near the hotel and the walk down to the harbor is short.
