The motel was in walking distance to the beach and a couple of cafes, but longer to other places for dinner etc. There is a shopping centre with supermarkets about 5 mins drive away.
The rooms are very comfortable and look renovated, but the bedroom window is over the fence to a noisy petrol station, which starts business at 5:00am when the lights come on.
There is no longer a pool at the motel and the spa in the room is still there but not usable.

Just passing through. Pre booked while travelling further south. Rooms recently refurbished very very clean and comfortable. Microwave, toaster, tea coffee biscuits etc. Bowls, side plates, dishwashing liquid. New manager's extremely friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay here again Slept like a baby 😊

Dropped in off the street to enquire and stayed one night on our way through town. Nice room, quiet, comfortable bed, all the usual facilities, very clean and reception was very helpful, apparently just taken over management of the motel. Very nice comfortable room, close to restaurants.

Well my wife and I must say that we won't be staying there again for the price slippery tiles know cup's, cutlery, know sink to wash anything up spa bath didn't work the plug for the bath was the wrong one floor rugs would've been nice TV wasn't sign in so I had to make an account in my name to watch TV know iron , know coat hangers in my opinion it was not good

We only had one night in Forster on our road trip. We were so glad we chose Forstay from among numerous motels in the town. The location is a short walk to a wide range of restaurants and shops. Our room was exceptionally clean and well laid out. The bed was comfortable, the shower had great pressure, the curtains were dark, the towels were fluffy and the room had everything we needed - toaster, microwave, kettle, a fridge, tea, coffee, biscuites, cutlery, glassware, and crockery. The motel is quiet and very close to both the beach and the lake. The reception staff were very welcoming and informative about the region. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the region. Highly recommend.

What a find! Spotlessly clean and comfortable and located minutes from the beach, the river and the restaurants. But it would be just another motel if it wasn't for the wonderful hospitality offered by our hosts Elvira and George, who couldn't be more helpful and friendly, thoroughly genuine and extremely professional. We cant recommend them enough and we definately will be back. Thank you Elvira and George, the natural scenic beauty of Forster is wonderful, but it is the people you meet that make visits like this special.

Comfy room and helpful staff. Well located with a short walk to dive shops, restaurants and shops and bridge to Tuncurry. Good value for the money. Free WIFI, small bar fridge, microwave, dishes and AC. Free parking. Thanks to the friendly staff with directions to local beaches, walkways and orientation of the area.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean room and property (nice cold aircon for summer), and very close to town and the beach - easy walk. Didn’t hear a single sound outside even though the property is on a main road, and near a servo (we used the servo a couple of times as a convenience store). Great value stay, especially considering it was a public holiday long weekend.

Arrived and staff were very helpful, particularily pointing out good eating spots and impotantly were to get an 5 30 coffee as l head out the next morning. room was clean and smelt really fresh making a solid first impression, great shower with high pressure, clean sheets with no overbearing luandry smell.comfortable bed and pillow, Great overnighter, one of the best stays l have had at this level 👍👍👍
