We had booked a family room for 2 adults, 3 children and a small dog for 14 days in July 2022. We were told we would be given the DeLuxe room and it would have enough space for everyone. We had already paid the deposit when booking. When we arrived we had to pay the remaining amount (before the room inspection). When we were then shown the room, we could hardly believe our eyes. It was a room that would have been tight even for 2 people and in addition three folding beds for the children were squeezed into this room!! We informed the landlord Stefano that this was not possible and that it was unreasonable. He said that if we didn't like it, we could rent another room for a "special price" for a few days. But then we would have to move 2-3 times, and in the meantime we would all have to stay in our room together, since he had other guests coming. This was out of the question for us, on the one hand because we would like to be together as a family and on the other hand because we didn't want to move so often. There would also have been no connecting door. We told him that this was not how we imagined our vacation to be. We suggested to him that we would stay a week and then look for other accommodation for the second week. We asked Stefano to accommodate us, which he didn't do! He said he might be able to refund us some of the money if someone else booked our room at that time. We never saw Stefano again, not even when we checked out. He did not answer by phone, whatsapp or email. We cannot recommend this accommodation to anyone! Unfortunately, Stefano is only out for profit! For breakfast, there were pre-packaged pastries, stale croissants from the day before and there was expired meat sausage and frozen milk in the fridge! Toilet paper was often not refilled and the terrace was only wiped once. We never got the money back for a whole week.
