This hostel has got to be the best hostel in the Mediterranean. If you're a solo traveler or traveling with a group of friends, it is perfect. Ages seem to be 20-35, and everyone is always interested in doing something fun. The hostel is run by Lorenzo and his family, and they are all excellent hosts and fun people! The community at Ring is amazing, and I highly recommend doing the evening activities to meet people!

A hostel to strongly advise against, mainly because of the total lack of basic hygiene standards. We found clothes with excrement in the common bathrooms, cockroaches wandering freely and a nauseating stench of sewer throughout the structure. An experience to forget and not to repeat.

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Dirt and bad smell everywhere, no staff (which makes it possible for anyone to access the rooms undisturbed, at any time). You might as well sleep in your car.

Horrific experience: dilapidated structure with practically no hygiene, broken and malfunctioning toilets, garbage everywhere (including used underwear), we even had a bottle of wine stolen. I couldn't find a positive aspect even with the most fervent imagination.

Stayed at Ring for 3 nights this August with friends. Rooms are beautiful, but you feel dirty. I didn’t see one cleaner come in. The toilets don’t flush, there was rarely ever toilet paper (I was using napkins). And two bathrooms to use between 3 rooms of maybe 20-25 people. The bathrooms are DISGUSTING. Mold everywhere, and the floor is always soaking wet— the air is moist. Every time I went to brush my teeth I felt like I was suffocating. No AC, just one fan per room. Maybe 2 outlets per room. Couldn’t really sleep unless I was completely still. The breakfast they promised every morning was late and pretty bad. NOT worth the €30 a night. Truly disgusting. Please do not go here if you want to feel comfortable! Only good things was there’s a €40 boat ride around the island they do almost every day that was so much fun, staff was kind, and rooftop had a beautiful view. But that’s it.
