I enjoyed three nights here. The Inn seemed to of been refurbished in recent times. My room was on a ground floor next to the bar / restaurant, it contained a double and single bed, making the room a little cramped. It was clean and modern with an easy to use shower. It could of done with a bit more room to hang up clothes. Situated back from the A697 there was some noise from passing traffic. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent. It's an ideal base for visiting Places such as Kelso, Lindisfarne, Berwick or nearer attractions around Ford and Etal.

5 Stars - A Hidden Gem! We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Blue Bell Inn in Cornhill-on-Tweed. From the moment we walked in, the warm and friendly hospitality made us feel right at home. The highlight, though, has to be the food — delicious homemade cooking from chef Anthony that was clearly prepared with care and love. Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented by our host Michelle and made from quality local ingredients. It’s rare to find a place that combines such genuine service with outstanding food. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy spot with real charm and character. We’ll definitely be back!

The staff were wonderful, and the pub food was honest and delicious. While the rooms could use some TLC, this was a perfect little overnight stay while we were in the area. The prices were decent, and sports were played in the pub, adding to the lively atmosphere. We would definitely stay again to explore the area more thoroughly.

Overnight stay with meal
We had a good stay at the Blue Bell Inn. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the food was fine.

Fantastic stay
Fantastic wee inn, very comfortable, clean, warm rooms with big beds and great shower room/toilet. We arrived very late so didn’t get to enjoy the pub but it looks very cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and lots of choices. Host was brilliant, accommodating us arriving late and cooking our delicious breakfast. I hope we have need to come back!
