Hotel Mas Rabiol -Emporda-Only Adults-Eco Hotel

A little slice of heaven! We booked fairly last minute and couldn't have got it more right! The Mas sits within a beatutiful plot of immaculate lawns surrounded by fields with a sparkling pool and terraces to sit and just relax. The rooms were spacious, smelled gorgeous and beds so comfortable. I noticed a review saying the hosts dont speak English so choose somewhere else ... well, you are in Spain, try speaking Spanish or simply just try to be human and communicate. Gloria and her husband speak a little English but between lots of smiles and pointing and laughing, we all understood eachother and they couldnt have done more to make us feel welcome! We were there the same time as a family group of Canadians so time was spent before dinner chatting in the lovely lounge. There's an honesty bar with all sorts of drinks - wine, spirits, tea, coffee, snacks which you can access any time and both breakfast and dinner were off the scale fantastic. We were only there 1 night and we wanted to stay longer. On departure Gloria and Carlos came out to say goodbye, I felt a bit emotional going as they treat you like family. From reading the reviews, if you like a warm, friendly experience, chatting to the hosts and other guests, you'll love it, if you want more of an anonomous 'big hotel' experience, go to the cities, not the countryside. This place is the best!! Thank you Gloria and Carlos, you are so lovely.

This hotel is a gem. It’s in the most beautiful setting, the grounds and inside are immaculate and everything is thoughtfully decorated and arranged. But the thing that sets this place apart is the owners and their team. We were half board and Gloria made us the most delicious dinners, made with fresh local ingredients and lots of courses! Breakfast was a great choice of fruit, bread, meats and cheeses, again, everything was fresh and tasty. We were relaxed and spoilt throughout and nothing was too much trouble - one of the staff even fixed our bike! Would highly recommend.

Great rural place to stay next to the unique village of peretallada! The masia is super cute, with great garden, friendly dogs and a refreshing swimingpool (extremely needed for the hot summer weather). They only have 8 rooms so you can relax properly on your holidays. The owner is incredible and welcoming, she fully takes care of you (we overslept on our first night and she kept the breakfast open so we could eat). Finally, we loved the breakfast, it’s full of local charcuterie from villages near by, their own eggs, home made pastries and seasonal fruits. We will come back!
