Très bel endroit, belle localisation et bel accueil. En journée, après un bon petit-déjeuner au calme : visites diverses dans la région, vers 17h /18h piscine puis un bon repas au resto.... que réver de mieux ?

A very friendly hotel with charming staff, and superb dining in their courtyard.. Directly opposite the monastery of Fontevraud, and close to the vineyards of Saumur etc. Maybe the standard rooms are a bit small!

Nous avons apprécié notre nuit chez vous, votre accueil parfait et sympathique Notre chambre mansardée petite mais très fonctionnelle avec belle vue sur la cour intérieure et l'abbaye La piscine était agréable avec transats ⛲️ Nous avons bien apprécié notre dîner dans votre restaurant et nous nous sommes régalés les papilles avec votre tourte, la gouline et plats et desserts étaient également très goûtus Petit-déjeuner bien fourni, dommage qu'il n'y avait pas de chaud, œufs, bacon... Au final, cet établissement est d'un bon rapport qualité prix, avec parking et une situation parfaite pour découvrir la fameuse abbaye de Fontevraud ☕️

Tony charpentier Agent Commercial J'ai reçu un appel de la direction de l'hôtel La Croix Blanche à fontevraud me demandant si j'étais bien un professionnel me demandant ma listes des clients et qui j'allais visiter dans la région, J'ai été très surpris de cet appel, j'ai l'habitude d'être à l'hôtel 2 à 3 fois par semaine vu mon métier et on ne m'appelle jamais pour me demander si je suis un professionnel et ma liste de clients. La petite réflexion que j'ai eu qui veut tout dire "nous sommes en forte saisons et et il y a de la beaucoup de demandes", comme je les rappelé à cette charmante dame (fort désagéable) que si on ne veut pas mettre des chambres en soirée étape il ne faut pas les proposer sur le site internet, j'ai annulé ma venue à cet hôtel et je ne ferait plus jamais de demande pour cet hôtel. La propriétaire n'a pas daigné donner son nom au départ ce cachant derrier son titre de proprietaire, il a fallu que je te demande à plusieurs reprises sont non (je suis la proprietaire et jai le droit de vous demander cela) Moi mon droit sera d'aller voir ailleur et de passer le message a mes collègues commerciaux. Mme chabenat je vais donc prendre une autre chambre sur Angers et je passerais le mot Tony CHARPENTIER Agent commercial

Super hôtel, nous avons eu une très belle chambre. Un très bel établissement au calme avec une piscine et un bon dîner. À deux pas de l’abbaye de Fontevraud. On ne peut que déplorer les cris de la patronne sur son employe depuis la cuisine que tout le monde a entendus…quand c’est comme ça, on respire un bon coup, on reprend son service, on offre le dessert et voilà…mais les clients n’ont pas à être témoin du bazar en cuisine. Cela reste néanmoins une adresse authentique et bucolique

Peaceful courtyard hotel, with decent restaurant and small pool. We stayed as part of a cycle tour and it’s very well located between a number of designated paths and quiet country lanes. Avoid the cheaper attic rooms, small and stuffy with restric light.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le personnel est vraiment sympathique, le restaurant délicieux, et la chambre avec terrasse parfaite pour profiter du cadre. Idéalement situé devant l'Abbaye, c'est un bon point de départ pour visiter les chateaux et vignobles des alentours.
