The hotel is very good and the environment is great. There is a monastery on one side and a small wood on the hillside on the other side. It must be beautiful in the summer. It is fun to explore the monastery at night and it tests your courage. But the monastery has been renovated and lacks a bit of its quaintness. The triple room we stayed in, 222, was obviously a back-covered room. There were no cabinets, kettles, hair dryers, clothes hangers or umbrellas in the room. So it's better to stay in two standard rooms rather than a triple room, the price is about the same.

房間比較小，沒有冰箱。但是整個修道院環境非常好，參觀拍照皆宜。服務很好，就是米其林餐難定，我們提早幾個月都沒有訂到，所以不知道品質怎麼樣。

Parcourir l'abbaye royale de Fontevraud le jour puis la nuit fut magique. En prenant une chambre dans son enceinte nous avons pu nous imprégner de ce magnifique site historique. Le personnel est très professionnel.

Si vous passez par la, arrêtez vous dans ce lieu chargé d’histoire. Nous avons profité des lieux toute la soirée, avec le spectacle son et lumière fantastique. Le petit déjeuner dans le cloître était magique.

Une expérience sensationnelle. Un moment magique ! l'hôtel est superbement décoré et profiter du domaine le soir quand les visiteurs sont partis est un privilège rare. Attention : les chambres ne sont pas climatisées et malgré l'épaisseur des murs, le jour de notre passage il faisait vraiment très chaud et la chambre était trop chaude. Nous avions pris l'option pique nique et c'était délicieux (cuisine de l'hotel étoilé michelin oblige) Petit déjeuner magique autour d'un cloitre. Chaudement recommandé

Séjourner au coeur du domaine de l'abbaye est agréable car on prend le temps de se mettre dans le rythme, de déambuler dans les couloirs, retourner voir les lieux... les chambres sont très simples. Personnel accueillant ! Très bon petit déjeuner !
