We spent two nights with Kristien and her charming little family at Domaine Pont Juillet—a wonderful discovery and a memorable encounter. Kristien is one of those people you want to befriend. She exudes joie de vivre, is brimming with energy, and nothing ever seems too much trouble. Present from A to Z, she takes care of her guests with constant attention, always with a smile on her face and a lightness that feels good. A little joke here, a humorous remark there… Everything is done to create a relaxed and warm atmosphere. It's anything but impersonal at her place: you feel good, welcomed, a bit like a friend's house. And it's probably no coincidence that some of the other guests present at the same time as us were not on their first stay. With this guesthouse, Kristien has realized her dream—and she has given herself the means to achieve it, without shying away from the energy required or the obstacles to overcome. The place itself is superb, decorated with great taste and style. Every detail is carefully thought out, down to the smallest touches that make all the difference. You can feel the love of a job well done and the passion that drives Kristien in what she undertakes. The park surrounding the property, with its peaceful pond, is simply idyllic. It invites relaxation, daydreaming... and makes you want to linger, slow down, and enjoy the moment. Everything is spotlessly clean. Hats off. We will be back with great pleasure.

Wonderful stop for one night on route to Calais from the south of France. Beautiful building and grounds. Wonderful friendly host. Really clean bedroom and bathroom. And a delicious breakfast with a full range of really good produce. And home made eggs. Would recommend highly.

Hele fijne B&B! Alles goed verzorgd en fijne, leuke sfeer. Kamers heel netjes en schoon. Hond was van harte welkom. Rustige omgeving, wel rijdt er een trein langs het huis, maar na een lange autorit heb je daar echt geen last van. Heerlijk ontbijtje en erg lieve gastvrouw! In de buurt van B&B niet enorm veel eetgelegenheid, maar Chalon-sur-Saône, op korte afstand met de auto, heeft heel veel mogelijkheden.
