The pool needed cleaned, had dirt and leaves. Maintenance had it closed during the most hot day on the calendar. They should service it after hours, not close it during guest open hours. Rooms were not ready by 4pm, that is not good for being a Hilton Hotel name. No Bar, No restaurant as website so stated.
A very bad experience, for me.

Arrived in town early for nine day caretaking job that would be 24/seven needed a couple of days to relax and decompress before the stressful job. It was perfect for what I was looking for. I rested. I ate breakfast every morning. Everyone was so friendly it was exactly what I needed before I started a very difficult job. I would stay there again.

This hotel is slowly fighting its way back...been staying there for many years and we have seen it at its best, worst and now, slowly regaining its footing under new management. The former management took a great crew and destroyed it...long time employees who worked there, left because of poor management. The hotel eliminated many small, but visible perks. As the teams dissolved, so too did the hotel experience. Recently new management has come on board and attempting to rebuild both the quality of service and value of that experience....a work in progress. Fortunately, a few really wonderful, polite and service oriented staff have weathered the storm. Lynne who normally works nights was on our morning shift for breakfast...totally provided professional and customer based service that anyone would appreciate...she should receive a bonus or some perk for going above and beyond to make her customers feel valued, appreciated and instilling the desire to return to this HGI. We hope that really outstanding staff like Lynne, will stay and help build a strong ,new team. Management needs to know that repeat customers have endured less than the best...its time to right the ship and keep you loyal customers.

A really, really great value in Folsom California. Close to entertaining shopping, strong and local coffeeshops with great vibes, and pretty central in town. Staff were super friendly, rooms were clean and well-appointed, and overall vibe made me feel calm and safe. You cannot go wrong staying here when you're next in Folsom. If you have family visiting, it's a great place to host them as well.

Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Folsom and was genuinely impressed. The staff here go out of their way to make you feel at home — warm, attentive, and just genuinely kind people. The room was spotless, quiet, and super comfortable — I actually got some of the best sleep of my trip here. The on-site restaurant. I wasn’t expecting hotel food to be this good — it absolutely exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend dining there, even if you’re just passing through Folsom. Would absolutely stay again — it’s got everything you need, and then some.
