Getting married at The Old Kent Barn so needed somewhere to stay for our taster evening. Booked online a few months in advance and couldn’t believe how cheap it was £43. Plenty of parking - just make sure you put your REG in. Pub over the road if you fancy a drink. Rooms have everything you need and reception is helpful (we needed an ironing board and they brought to room). Definitely recommend to my wedding guests.

Stopped here 29th Nov after driving 9 hours across France .Then the Shuttle arrived about 6pm.Im buggering mobility issues after cancer treatment so find it difficult to get in and out if a bath.So hoped our room has a walk in shower. It dunno, but the guy on the desk that evening changed our room straight away.Sorry don't know his name .Also Lisa on the desk when we checked out.Very helpful and professional ..

After an eight hour journey through France and a fairly stressful check in at Eurotunnel Calais we arrived at the Hotel only to find I had mistakenly booked for the following night, however the young man on reception was very kind and understanding and was able to find us a room for the night and re arrange our meal bookings, I can not speak highly enough in praise of your staff.

A good location close to the terminal for the tunnel. Check in was quick and easy didn’t really see or interact with staff much. Rooms look a little run down and sound proof is poor. Was kept up most of the night to very loud music above us and stomping

Comfy bed and clean, basic room. Could have done with a towel rail in the bathroom, instead just had 4 holes in the wall where maybe one used to be. The room was made up for too many kids but we solved that ourselves. I wouldn't stay here in the summer, the rooms are hot and there's no AC. You can open your window a bit but the hotel is located right next to the M20 so that's not a great idea. It's also located about as far away as you can get from the sea and the coastal park, so don't be fooled by the downright lies in the hotel description!

Stayed here for one night before catching le shuttle the following morning. Its boarderline acceptable, but wouldnt stay here if not for proximity to tunnel. Rooms not cleaned properly, found someone elses items under bed. Plates and cups at breakfast were pretty grotty. It feels like one of the older premier inns and needs some renovation.

Like every other review here says, the rooms are warm. We didn't find them unbearably so, but they were hot and there was no change of changing that temperature, other than the fan included. Other than that it's a standard Premier Inn. Clean enough, free car park, basic pub attached, slept well (heat aside). Would stay again if needing the Eurotunnel early next morning, but probably only in winter as I would worry how warm those rooms would get otherwise!

we have often used this hotel, due to its close proximity to the channel tunnel terminal. However, after the stay we had last week, i think we will be looking elsewhere. There were a few points that i feel need highlighting 1. Auto check-in wasnt working so waited in a queue stretching back to the door to book in - not a great start. 2. The room we had (221) was generally in a shabby condition - battered paintwork, lamp shades ripped and hanging off , noisy fan in the bathroom etc - the place needs an overhaul 3. as others have said the heating situation was crazy - we tried resetting the thermostat but the room was still too hot to sleep comfortably, given that the duvet felt like it was a brick 4. It might sound petty, but when in the room i want to relax and maybe watch some TV. The TV only had a few channels, none of which were the main channels, only minor channels (quest was one that comes to mind) and shopping channels. I suspect this is to entice you to visit the pub attached to the hotel - on which point.......... 5. Beware the meal deal con - on arrival in the pub we checked in and specifically told the waitress we were on a meal deal booking. That same waitress took our drinks order. On completion of the meal we made to leave, having already pre-paid for the meals - only to stopped by a different waitress who said we had to pay for the drinks we had, because the brands we chose were not part of the deal. I asked why i wasnt told this when i ordered the drinks - the waitress said i should have told whoever served us that i was on a meal deal ! We later heard another customer arguing with staff over the same thing. All in all, very disappointed and wont be going here again.

I slept like a baby. The bed is very confy, the bathroom and the room are clean and the staff very nice. It is very easy to park and the location is very convenient. It is also very quiet. I alreafy used Premier Inn in the past and will be using this hotel again. I am never disappointed by the service provided.
