Arrived and there were topless lads with beer cans in hand arguing with bnb owner. Police were shortly called and were inside bnb. Place smelled of dogs and fags. No breakfast , not that I’d have eaten there. Bedding had stains. Towels provided smelled. No bath mat was provided. Shower didn’t drain. Toilet didn’t flush properly. We were there on the lash so luckily I was drunk enough to fall asleep without concern for the environment. The only positive was that the owner seemed like a reasonable guy.

Was once a lovely guest house but now avoid at all cost. For a good night sleep stay in your car, you will be much happier.just look at the dirty curtains when you arrive, i think that will make up your mind.

DO NOT BOOK TO STAY HERE. Arrived to check in on 20th August to find he had been arrested and had to find somewhere else to stay. This is not a safe place to stay.

The owner was so sweet and nice, gave us tips on where to go in town. The room was small but clean, I loved the bed and the fluffy pillows, really comfy. It seems as if the owner is a bit overwhelmed with caring for all of the rooms and guests. The hotel definitely needs some renovations to get rid of the smell, it is probably just the old carpet. But the rest has so so much potential. I wish I could help

The main entrance had smell of wet dogs. The TV was old and tiny. The bathroom drainage was terrible. Furnitures are really old. At 4am in the morning, a random lady came somehow got into the roon while the door was locked. Felt really unsafe there.

My Advice to Anyone thinking of Going to his Joke of a Hotel should be aware that No1 They do not open until 5pm and there is no Car Park, Disabled Drivers cannot get anywhere near the door as the street is packed with permit parking only, You will get fined if you Park anywhere nearby, Absolutely terrible place to find and it looks very run down and shabby

Disgusting and scary, full of DSS, walking about in boxer shorts, arguing with each other. Stunk of tobacco, and generally unclean. Slept in my clothes with my coat over my head to escape the stink, to tolerate the 1 night we had to stay. It's a doss house. No breakfast ( wouldn't have eaten there anyway, it's dirty, it's got an unsafe vibe, and even states on another site that it has a pool, unfortunately that can only relate to the carpet stains and what those pools could be may be what causes the stink. Awful place, I'd pay not to go again ...which we actually did rather than return on the way back. The photos are obviously from many years ago, looks nothing like that. The guy says you get what you pay for people shouldn't grumble.....people need to avoid it in the first place and surely these places need to be outed for misrepresentation.
