The people here are very friendly. The owner also has a small winery. He let us taste the wine and bought two bottles.

Très bel endroit, beaucoup de gout. L accueil du propriétaire est très personnel et nous fait sentir comme a la maison. Le petit déjeuner est inclus et copieux. Tout est fait maison. Le diner fut excellent. Beaucoup de calme et de sérénité. parfait pour les vacances. Les chambres et la salle de bain sont très bien. Des meubles anciens donnent beaucoup de charme au lieu. Parking assure. Very beautiful place, very elegant. The owner's welcome is very personal and makes us feel at home. Breakfast is included and healthy. Everything is homemade. Dinner was excellent. Very calm and serene. Perfect for vacation. The rooms and bathroom are very nice. Antique furniture gives the place a lot of charm. Parking is assured.

We only spent a night but what a lovely place it is. An old farm stone home converted/ renovated into a beautiful inn/ hotel. We met the owner ans he gave us a while tour. We didn’t have a chance to have dinner there but from the looks and smell of it… I know I will be coming back to experience that too. We left very early the next morning so we didn’t have time for breakfast ans the owner sent us off with a slice of his chefs pound cake. My husband and I still romanticise over that devine piece of cake… which really reflects what Marcus’ hotel really is all about… quality, authenticity, charm, aroma and richness. It’s out in the country and about 15-20 by car…

If you’re looking at this hotel, do yourself a favor and stay there. The experience is outstanding. Quiet and very private.
The owner gave us a tour of the property, which used to be a vineyard owned by his family. Quite amazing how well they renovated the property.
Dinner was 5 star. Wine selection the same. My wife and I will stay there every time we travel back to Portugal. Two thumbs up!

Staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond. The property is beautiful and very tastefully renovated. Food and drink all very good.
